It's truly baffling. Instead of videos showing specific individuals being attacked or facing racial discrimination in Korea, you're basing your statement 'Don't visit Korea' on random Asians on TikTok expressing jealousy or dislike for Korea? Many Korean KZbinrs have faced racial insults and discrimination in Africa, yet they haven't discouraged viewers from visiting Africa.
@user-cnksi2236 ай бұрын
It seems like Africans might not be fully aware, but there are groups of Asians who harbor intense jealousy towards Korea and spend all their time on the internet spreading baseless criticisms. Koreans have been enduring this cyberbullying for decades. If Europeans depicted Africa in a negative light, would Koreans appreciate believing it blindly? Please, refrain from easily judging a specific country before experiencing it firsthand.
@user-cnksi2236 ай бұрын
Moreover, the remark in the Korean drama wasn't emphasizing Africa's backwardness but rather highlighting the character's bravado. He had been in Africa for only a week, staying mostly in hotels. Yet, he exaggeratedly portrays his 20s as rough and savage, adding a comedic element. It's akin to a man who served as an administrative soldier in a special forces unit in the Korean military claiming he served in the special forces ruggedly.

What that man said is very true. I live in China. As a visitor, you’re not likely to encounter real racism here. But if you try to integrate yourself into this society in a real way, the true values of the society will begin to show, and racism will impact you. And God forbid a GROUP of black people try to get something started in China..the local people will feel like they’re being invaded and will come up with every way to sabotage you. This is why it kills me when people go to countries as visitors and say “oh there’s no racism here! Everyone is so nice!”. The truth is that, 9/10 the people of that country have no incentive to be racist towards you if you’re not trying to become a part of their community, family, or institutions. Once you start trying to make headroads into those things…like starting a family, buying a property, etc. You’ll see how they really feel and what they DO. Institutional racism is real in these countries and there’s little you can do about it.

You can only see organized religion does not make the world a better place but rather causes hostility, greed, oppression, hegemony, Greed, crude behaviors and many negative behavior towards it fellow humans. I have out with these hypocrisy for years. My always said watch those who do as I say not what they do.

What you call Kemet is actually called Nkama. The people from the loges changed the vocalisation, so when you talk about Kemet, they know where you got your knowledge from: another mason, so whatever you learned had been mixed up with lies...that's how they roll. Your knowledge is still stored in your ntu (=DNA). Our ancestors didn't function with a "belief" system. They KNEW. First off, the endonym of the continent is Katiopa. People don't like you to remember this, because, but that's endonym. Sometimes you hear people who got their info from masonic people in the 70s, and they call Katiopa Alkebulan, but that is an exonym that comes from the Arabic world. If you want to remember, rersearch, >Bumuntu/ Ubuntu/ Umuntu/ Kimuntu. The keys to remember is in your ntu(DNA) and the language you speak. A thing to remember, our ancestors were not divided into tribes. The concept of tribes is exogenous from Katiopa. Our ancestors were organized in initiation schools. What did they learned in these schools? They learned how to recognized to the Ngo (= Black Sun, the real Sun). And the cultures and traditions of the Ngo spread worldwide, not just in Katiopa.

yes as colored man from south africa western cape, i believe the black people are the original chosen 12 tribes, by the curse and rebuke was the chosen scattered to every parts of the world by way of slave ships, so we looking at a spiritual change, that connects with the act of the chosen to come to faith and believe, Apostle Paul in the following verse is speaking of the chosen people who are the natural branches who will be grafted back in when they return to faith and believe Romans 11:16 16For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and [d]fatness of the olive tree, 18do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” 20Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. 21For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. 22Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, [e]goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. 23And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? 25For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own [f]opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26And so all Israel will be [g]saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; 27For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins.”

There was a study done on newborns, where are they did a puppet show. They made the babies identify with one of the puppets, as being part of their group. When they saw somebody hurt the babies were upset yes. But when they saw a member who they viewed as part of their group, hurt somebody else. They were not upset at the person being hurt, they were on the side of the member who they viewed as part of their group. These were infants. It is in us to hate people who are different. Hi sis, Good job on your videos. Im your brother in the States, NC to be exact. I CERTAINLY AGREE WITH YOU!!! It is extremely exhausting to constantly put up with all of the contrary attitudes from all other groups and even our own sometimes, on a daily basis. The young Korean man speaking in the video who said “if we can put up with it…”, i think that he thought that he was being helpful, but what everyone else in the world who isn’t the target of racism fails to realize is that this is not only exhausting but it also ends the life of black ppl early. There are public health statistics in the USA that show - on record - that a black man who lives the same quality of life as a yte male, with equal education, equal salary or better salary than your yte male counter part; in many of the cases in the study, the black male with better quality of life or equal quality at least - but not lesser quality of life, the black male still dies before their yte male and Asian counterparts do in American life…even with a better life style than these other races. The black males have been statistically dying before other groups of the same age and lower quality of life. The only factor it could be is the exhaustion and constant battles that come from the attitudes of yte-ness

It's not a lie. I am currently living in Korea as an English teacher (originally from Canada), and yes there are kids who are more tanned and have darker complexions. Unfortunately, they get teased a lot more by their classmates. The other day one of my middle school students pointed to a classmate and said hey teacher, look at him, and when everyone looked, he said " hahaha he's dark!" and all the other classmates started laughing.... In Korea, being dark is almost seen as having a disability, it's something that makes you unattractive, and undesirable... I had to stop the class and tell the student that his tan was nice! I had to teach a whole lesson on how in Canada or the US there was a saying "Tall, dark and handsome" and that having darker skin is seen as attractive by many people.

Sure, outsiders meddled, but we’ve also got to own up to our own stuff. And comparing African conflicts to what African Americans went through? It’s like trying to compare apples and oranges. Just let it go. Black people have a habit of going into places where the people don't like us. My black co worker went to China for 2 weeks. She came back complaining about how bad she got treated by the Chinese. The Krazy thing about it is, a black male coworker was there and he explained to her how bad it is over there for black people. I use to go to a restaurant that's owned by an Arab man and a white woman. There would be times when they would give me strange looks, not making eye contact, taking too long to turn around and take my order. The vibe didn't feel right. I got the impression that they didn't like me because I'm black American. And so I stopped going in there. It's that simple. I don't go anywhere where I know or feel like I'm not wanted by the owners and managers. It seems like as soon as we find out we get treated like dirt in other countries, there we go buying a airplane ticket to those countries That's Krazy. I don't know if this stems from a low self esteem or maybe something else is going on. I live in a majority Dominican area. I go in the corner store and the Dominican cashier appeared to be ignoring me. When I left the store, a black man walking by said "that guy is racist AF." That was the last time I went in that store.

Just want to say, myself and many other people love Africa and the African people. I think many of the haters are just jealous

I enjoyed this video. Seems Blacks / African People experience racism almost Worldwide. I think you wearing your natural hair is Awesome!! I see very few Black Women with their natural hair and to me it seems to hide their true natural beauty. Don't expect political correctness privileges you can get in North America in Asia.

Maybe not now, but ALL actions have consequences, sooner or later. We now control amrerica and europe so there go be a scorr to settle up real soon. Western style respect to the black man must become global, not jusst noth america. Pretty soon, you aint go have no cjhoice, even in asia. Black power been unleashed and I don't think this world know what the hell its in for!

I concur with the statements about focusing on ourselves going to African countries been many times, go where your valued and respected. Besides countries like Korea have real population decline.

Also Africa is the birthplace of mankind but non black peoples are not on that list, Negritos of Asia are the parents of modern Asians, but the Negrito Africans migrated from Africa to Asia, today’s Asian people are indigenous to Asia as their genetics began there

This is why more and more black Americans, Caribbeans, Africans, we need to get on code respect each other because this is how many these non black folks feel about ALL of us. Us wagging and pointing fingers at each other while talking shit. This tribalist mindset has to stop. “All I really know is they don’t really care about us.” 🎶 Michael Jackson

Which culture are u talking about? Cuz “black” is the skin color of certain demographics not a culture. So which culture are u referring to?

Sister l was stationed there. The majority of Korean nationals hate the American GI we polute their culture and they are resentful!!!BUT!!! They are seriously afraid of an all out assault from N Korea!!! and they have the military hardware to do it!!!If they could somehow make peace with north Korea they would kick US bases out just like the Philippines did. They don't need or want US dollars!!! They have a strong and vibrant economy.
