Must-See BURIED Vintage Web Pages for Classic VW Beetle Bug Owners

Hey Volks, you know on a daily basis I get slammed with questions, requests, wanted "how to info" on our beloved VW Beetle. Many of the answers are on the internet with some simple searching and hunting, or just go to my YT channel @classicvwbugs.
Some pages that I used to reference are now either gone or have slipped down the "Google" ranking page list. In this video I point out some old VW web pages that have been around for 20+ years that seem to be buried out there.

Rob and Dave came about in 2004., but TheSamba started in late 1998, but became what we know it as some years later ... I wish I could remember my login from back then! Oh man, so many memories.

I remember it was called vw planet in the early days. It had a picture of his black dog "samba" I think. It would be cool to somehow see again what the old site used to look like.

Great video. Oddly enough, I found and bookmarked that WW wired page about the horn. It was an excellent description about the horn system. Rob and Dave's site is awesome as well, I can spend hours on there reading articles.

I’ll look at the horn info because mine doesn’t work and hasn’t for years! The directional is aftermarket and doesn’t work right either… I wired up my 62 beetle based on the Bug Me video and have problems with my right turn signal coming on when the brake pedal is pushed!! At least it runs well…

I got my horn working again and then it stopped. Weird horn. 67 bug.
