“Owner to what I think & Slave to what I say!” In this interview (just as in his music) Chuck D intertwined music & sociology and made a masterpiece! The brother even noticed how beautiful the interviewer is! A Masterclass indeed!

Brilliant interview prof! And Chuck D is a master artist, master storyteller and a master teacher in his own right. He was laying the foundation of the history of hip hop while at the same time dropping bread crumbs that lead people to dig deeper into the origins of the culture of hip hip and its impact on society.

Sister Karen this was such a good show. Growing up in New York City (Bronx) then moving to Long Island at 16 years old. Chuck brought back good memories. I was in the Bronx in 1973…. But by 1976 we moved to white Long Island. I was at those Adelphi parties back during that time. Parties at CW Post etc. thanks for this show sister.

Professor Hunter I am grateful for all you do. Chuck D should be teaching somewhere as well if he isn’t, but I believe he may be already. He’s so brilliant with his knowledge of music. Long story short, I saw a Knubian in the wild. During spring break my family was on NCL Bliss from LAX to Vancouver. A man was headed toward me pointing at my “Let’s Be clear shirt” from Knarrative. He was in a Knubian hoody! We both started laughing.

Missing Chuck D from Pacifica. The History and the telling of the Dope stufff requires vital parts of the brain functioning. Read some of everything, listen to different styles of music past and present. Tell our stories like the griots we are. Multifaceted stories exploring and explaining the wisdom of our ancestors. With license to 'ill'. Study the mythologies, the philosophies, there are lessons to be learned. Bring light to the world. Check Prometheus.

The central park & screenagers section, is a total reflection of London & the Jamaican influence. Ooooh, the history lesson's on point. So I edited because of the Saturday morning cleaning & washing of uniforms for school. Black folk's, we know everything about you, & you still don't know anything about us.
