Thank you. This could be me on the left. I see that my intent to create lag was to get my body to move before the club and try to hold on. Got fitted for clubs once and got so tired. Guy told me he would spend the money on lessons instead of clubs:). I took lessons and never was told what my issue was. Still over the top and dragging arms around body at and post impact. Would love to find a pro like you in Chicagoland area that coaches like you do.

Very effective learning with the comparison side by side; many thanks Coach Andrew. As I reported earlier to you all I did was one day of practice using your method; the results were immediate success. Going forward I will train more guided by you, hope to use on line coaching with you. Thanks Coach

Andrew, what an excellent video with a real live student. With that lag that he's gained, he should be able to really get distance with so much less effort. Nice to see a real world example. Keep up the great work!

You addressed the elephant in the room … the release …. The body swing instruction on KZbin ignores the release and concentrates on some super chip… now we know get the appropriate hinge in the backswing and release the club … great progress 😅😅

Watched this video yesterday with your commentary and instantly subscribed to your channel. Your explanations are concise and easy to process. The swing transformation in the video illustrated how an anemic, violent, narrow swing can blossom into an athletic movement with great tempo. With proper sequencing, the arms and hands move faster but it actually feels like there's more time to execute. Thank you for this gem!

Thanks very much Andrew, felt I was looking in a mirror at before images - hcap, build, swing , age and hair style 😁, very similar. And yes have been trying to swing like an 18 year old American college golfer. Thanks again

Start slowly!! What I don’t mention on the video is that this was a 90 minute immersion and we didn’t hit a golf ball for 45 minutes! Lots and lots of practice swings, slow mo training, video analysis, “One” training, and wiffle balls PRIOR to striking a real golf ball and eventually speeding things up! The quality of your practice is the key to new skill acquisition and long term success! Thanks for watching! Coach A. 🏌️♂️⛳️🙏🏻

Great video, Andrew. Is this transformation in the swing like changing to the L to L Drill, i.e., Hinge then Unhinge? If you can understand what I mean. TIA...
@AndrewEmeryGolf14 күн бұрын
This students transformation started with a new concept!! I had to plant the seed first and wipe clean some of his old misconceptions. The keys were keeping his back to the target and allowing his arms to de-elevate as opposed to ‘Pinning & Spinning’ which left his arms at the start line causing an early release!! He made amazing progress increasing speed effortlessly! Thanks for watching! Best, Coach A. 🏌️♂️⛳️🙏🏻
