So glad you enjoyed the Achmelvich castle. A pity there was no storm at the time you visited. You would have notice how the wind dropped when you entered the clever entrance. The builder left his castle and did some good work later helping on the designing the cathedral at Coventry. Thanks for coming here in a small camper van. The large travelling houses ruin our summers now just by blocking our single tracks.

@OurWildHorizons3 жыл бұрын
Ooh the west coast was definitely the hardest to get signal but we did quite well on Vodaphone. We had move on quite quickly in a lot of places that we otherwise would have spent the night at. Torridon had it in the most remote stretch!

Ah thank you so much!! I love the filmmaking side of things so it’s lovely to read a comment like this 😃 We went in June, so we had it for a month before the midges come out in full force and before the school holidays started. It was incredible since it was quiet and the sun didn’t set until past 11pm!

@OurWildHorizons3 жыл бұрын
We’ve been lucky! Yes, there’s a repellent company called Smidge who have set up these traps all over the counties to monitor the midge levels. Type midge forecast in google and it should be the first one 😊 it’s quite interesting!

How long it took you guys to learn to fly the drone? Got my one few days ago and it's pretty ice Air 2s
@OurWildHorizons3 жыл бұрын
I’ve been flying it for years now. It’s fairly easy and you get more confident with each flight. I like the turn the drone around when I’m up in the air to double check I’m clear of any potential obstacles it may crash into. That drone looks awesome, I’m sure you’ll be fine and a pro in no time 😊
