Wow this is so impressive!! My partner and I have just converted our first van… we were wondering how you navigated deciding if and how you would ground your inverter? We are hearing so many different opinions! We are so looking forward to seeing your next build!!
@OurWildHorizons2 күн бұрын
I grounded the negative bus bar (drilling through the floor and connecting to the chassis (but with a normal panel can you could use the metal of the walls) - then just fed the negative and ground cable to the negative bus bar. Hope that helps! 😊

Great Tour. Currently reworking my EHU six years ago less electric build knowledge and solutions available these days (Very neat Jake) Lots more on the net now. Had to get our shower tray fixed in Ludlow but a good job with special coating solution. (Great colour scheme Beth) Love our EDD and he has taken us to 32 countries. Hope you guys are well 🤗

Did you have problem with police? Was the story right? Being stopped many times by police for ridiculous traffic sign. Anyway, great video.

Yeah but after the first time we learned to wait at any sign 😂 Only in Marrakesh did we actually have the issue!

The van looks great, but is there any ventilation in the shower/toilet ?
@OurWildHorizons5 күн бұрын
Yes, there’s a fan for the toilet which goes into a carbon filter from simploo. As for ventilation, we didn’t install one and instead made sure the maxxair fan was directly outside the shower door. We thought about install a side wall vent but haven’t had the need to. Thanks for watching ☺️

If you do that, always have the top “frame” lay on the legs. Sorry for my Swenglish! Its surdier then and lighter, don’t have to make so much support. Hope it makes sense. God DAMN I love your video.. your amazing.. thank you, I hope you have many more like it in different places. I have gone 10x to Mallorca, and I am not a good traveler, so I really saw very little compared to you. Maybe it would be good to have a chat with some of the locals. Your video looks so good, I want to live there and I know how bad it is in the summer. Way too hot and way too many people. lots of smelling locations, Magaluff stinks. I am glad I did it when I was young, no more for me.

I became interested in Plitvice while reading about the war. One of the more interesting episodes early on involved a group of Croatian Serbs taking over the park. Eventually Croatian police evicted them, but both a Croatian Policeman and a Croatian Serb youth died in the conflict, marking what many consider to be the first casualties of the war. This disrupted tourism in Croatia for a few years (some Italian tourists got caught up in the mix and thankfully made it out, mostly unaware of what the hell was happening). And since tourism was a huge part of their economy, it crippled their ability to effectively keep up with their neighbors as everybody ramped up for the coming conflicts. This weird Malheur Nature Preserve Takeover thing was actually a pivotal moment in not only Croatia's history, but in the subsequent dissolution of Yugoslavia. Anyway, nice review. Beautiful park. I can see why they took it.
