Your videos are absolutely perfect ! I love how they are neat, the way you are talking, picking up music, your footage and editing. I don't feel like they need to get any better, but they are. Have a great time there ! All the best and maybe see you one day on the road !

Hi there Beth and jake, watched your video and guess wat? I live in the Scottish Highlands, small town just off a9 called Tain. I was at melvich beach last year for the day, stunning, although I thought it was called achmelvich beach near Ullapool, maybe this is different, anyway just wanted to let you know as I origanlly watched your van build after see the pics on the caravan group on FB, then led me to ur nc500 trip, small world amazing, I will enjoy following xx
@OurWildHorizons3 жыл бұрын
Ah that's amazing, you live in a beautiful place! Melvich beach was on the north coast near Thurso and Achmelvich is on the west side next to Clachtoll. Both of them were amazing :) Thank you so much for commenting, we hope that you continue to enjoy our documented adventures :)

Love it, especially the puffins. We are about a week behind you, so it’s good timing for tips. Please can you message me about where to walk at Dunnet head? Ta
@OurWildHorizons3 жыл бұрын
Ah I hope you’re having an amazing time 😊 so at Dunnet head there is a footpath but you can see much from the viewing deck. You have to walk out car park the way you drive in and then follow the fence line down to the cliffs. I think you’ll probably see other people doing the same thing as there were a few when we were there 😊 Hope you’ve got a camera ready to snap some pictures of them!
@scruffmutt50243 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much Beth. Spent hours just watching these comic little birds. Photos not great on a phone, but hey it’s the experience that counts.

How did you find the locals whilst on the nc500. I've heard the locals aren't always friendly and welcoming...
@OurWildHorizons2 жыл бұрын
We never had any issues and everyone we spoke to was a delight. However, we prefer staying in the wilderness spots but I can imagine if the villages were busy they could get annoyed there.
