The Melaka Portuguese Debal chicken look so yummy. Greg can pronounce Siakap so well. ..Glad Greg and Jumi decided to have Siakap instead of just stingray..just like how they also decided to order the fish head for asam pedas in their Batu Pahat food vlog.. hopefully by the time both leave Malaysia would be expert on the many common fishes Malaysians usually consume and how to enjoy each fish..😅..just a though..I myself do not even know the names and method of cooking all the fishes I see if I go to local market .. Beautiful scene and background and enjoy listening to all the explanation..

Looooove Melaka! Looks sooo quiet at the moment. Mmmmm rice ball in the chilli sauce is sooo good! ooooo yeah 3rd route haha fresh af! The tandoori chicken looks great, that rich red colour! hahaha 1 man factory. The baked fish is my pick from them all. Greg's reaction says a lot hahah. It's how big he opens his eyes is like my rating of how good it is. 😂😂

Yess Melaka is awesome! Crazy to see how quiet it is - saw videos of how packed it gets during normal times. Love those chicken rice balls! Baked fish is a great choice - sooo flavor packed! 😂😂😂 that’s a pretty solid indicator

Oh man that tandoori chicken is next level, guys! Go get some if you have spots near you

Had no idea there were Dutch influences over there. You guys are finding the coolest spots. Are the chicken rice balls similar to fish cakes?
@FoodandFootprints4 жыл бұрын
We didn’t either until recently. A lot of history here. They do look like fish balls but the consistency isn’t squeaky or spongy.

Hi! I've been watching a few of your clips. Compared to some others, I think yours is by far one of the best. No exaggeration when it comes to your facial expression as some others when describing about the food.. 😂 You managed to pick the right restaurant at the Settlement, by far they're reasonably priced. Outside the square behind the stage next to the school two other stalls you should try if you're ever in malacca again. The restaurants at the sea front can be pricey, but give them a try if you get a good recommendation. Rule of thumb ask for the price first because live crabs, fresh fish, prawns and squids are pretty pricey. Keep up the good work, happy eating to both of you. 👍

Wow that means a lot to hear - thank you so much for the kind words! We were happy with our choice. Read good things about it and it didn’t disappoint. We would love to come back to Melaka - it really impressed us. Beautiful town and incredible diverse lineup of food. Thankfully it is a quick easy trip from KL!

@@FoodandFootprints if you happen to be in Malacca sometime soon, let's meet up if you want and see where we can go for some makan. In the meantime, happy eating. Merry Christmas! 😊

Was wondering how it would work for satay celup with the new SOP, the fresh sauce would be awesome, hope they keep it that way. I would prefer that too! It has always been the first option, which is a turn off for most people. Do you need to pay extra for that?
@FoodandFootprints4 жыл бұрын
Yup it was more expensive (RM30). Would be a better value with a group, but definitely worthwhile in this pandemic.
