The storefronts are so much more colourful than the ones here in Toronto I live for that and yesss Yakult! This was fun, everything looked like an taste adventure ( ͡°👅 ͡°) for sure!!

Whats great to do is you take a line of them four to six Yakults, all of them, still encased in that tight (clear, NOT coloured plastic:: the transparent plastic) wrapping theyre inside of, and you take that straw and jab it into the foil at the top of whatever individual cuppy u like. Empty that, while holding the entire line of 4-6 cups in your hand, and go from cup to cup till theyre all empty. I loved seeing that in a K-Music video once. Fun. ^_^ and it seriously is the fastest way to fix a Yakult craving. Also yea NYC is iconic. 💥💜👊

Honestly Bunsik does not even taste close to the cheaper Seoul market dishes. So you might get the wrong impression. Normally the "rice cake" sauce (if not rose style) has good gochujang in it so it is spicy and richer. Often also fishcakes. The traditional Korean hot dog is coated in sugar and then topped with mayo and ketchup. Varieties are endless.

This bakery is more a Fusion place and the drink is yakult. I thought you know it 😆. The sponge cake is more a mediocre example of the Japanese castella cake and yes eating it without anything added is hard. You just cannot eat much then.
