Kamal Mahmud personally i still preferred tian tian (i used to work nearby so had both quite often) as i felt the chicken was just cooked better and was juicier. ah tai’s chicken consistency isnt really there, on some days its as good as tian tian’s, on some days its just dry and has that powdery texture when you bite into it..

As a local, I have had Chicken rice all around Singapore. I thought the best was tian tian until I tried 139 Hainan Chicken Rice at Yuhua Village Market & Food Centre, Blk 254 Jurong East St 24 #01-39, 600254. They have the best white chicken rice in Singapore! Cannot go back to tian tian after that. 139's Chicken is significantly bigger, more tender, juicier. Rice is like little clear pearls and super fragrant, fluffy and 粒粒分明。 The chilli sauce is the best ever. It's fragrant and has the perfect balance of flavour and kick that you would want to spoon over your rice and it that way! We do that every single time! Its become a staple meal at least once a week for our family. Whats more, they sell other types of meat too, such as roasted chicken, roasted pork, char siew too! Don't forget to order a side of chicken innards (鸡胗)! The cook them to perfection! Soft yet bouncy, the liver so well done its tender... ohhhh.... u have to try that!

Great, now you are making me hungry. I worked for years out of my company's Singapore office and what I really miss is the food. Most every thing else is expensive but the food is fantastic and can be had for little money.

Mikey’s videos make me hungry and full at the same time. How is this even possible? Haha.
