My wife and I tried Broke Da Mouth in Kapolei. It was sooo good! We had the Furikake Garlic Chicken, Beef Short Ribs & Adobo Pork Fries! Everything was Ono-Licious!! 🤤🤤 We got purple yam potato salad and mac & egg salad as sides. We both really enjoyed the Adobo Pork Fries & Furikake Garlic 🐔.. the Adobo was tasty & literally melted in your mouth, yet the fries were still crunchy! We definitely will be going back.. Still need to try the Spicy Chicken & the Bone in Beef Rib! And all the desserts!!! The food was awesome! But you know what was equally as AWESOME!?!? We struck up a conversation with 2 ladies (Filipino 🇵🇭, Chinese, Hawaiian🌺 & Puerto Rican🇵🇷 descent) seated at the table with us while drooling 🤤🤤🤤 at the Mocha Dessert 🥧 being served to a nearby table! And they were part of the Amanda & Felix Eats Foodie Ohana (A&EFO) too! Even better, they like us, they had recently moved to Oahu! What!?!? And even better they had lived near us on the Mainland! So cool!! 👍👍👍 ❤️❤️❤️

After watching your review of the restaurant and being in Kapolei, I finally got to have their food. They are as good as your review said, but for now, their menu items are not finalized yet. I did get to try combo's of the Braised Short ribs & Oxtail Adobo and a combo of the Garlic Butter Shrimp & Spicey Garlic Fried Chicken. The Short ribs were tasty, Oxtail Adobo melt in the mouth and Spicey Garlic Fried Chicken is great. Their brown rib is perfect and I had the Okinawan Sweet Potato salad, Tuna Mac, Corn and the Ocean Salad & Tofu. All of the items were worth the three week wait. I tried a couple of times but due to family event and changing times days off. For now, I recommend checking Yelp on their hours and days off which might change but they are worth it. Great for pointing them out. It's a tad more than some places, but it is worth the wait and higher price. I hope some of the items that the video showed turns up soon as I wanted to see the mushrooms. So for now, call for the hours, days off and what is on the menu, as the website covers the Kailua Kona set menu, which might not be available at the Kapolei just yet. The good thing is that I think the other items will still be good.

Tuna mac can be so good. I like black olives in it some times. Max & Lucy's has a really good one. I love beef luau! Not too many places have it. I gotta try this one.

Have you tried Haili’s Hawaiian food? Hi Liz is located on Kapahulu ave. They make traditional Hawaiian food. The proper way. The Kalua pig is made in an imu (under ground oven)

Never knew they opened a location on Oahu. I’m from the big island 🤙🏾 Btw, I think tuna Mac is a big island thing. My my friend moved to the big island from ewa. He ordered a plate lunch here with Mac salad and was not expecting it to have tuna. He didn’t like it lol. He was like, Is this a big island thing? So everytime some one brings mac salad to a gathering, he always ask if there’s tuna in it before he grabs some 😂 I love tuna Mac salad.
