I miss Papa Oles and need to do another better review on them. Craving those kalbi ribs and shrimp! Countryside Cafe was ono too! And the owners were so friendly when we went. Tip: If you're craving the same chicken skin they have the same at the Kalihi Faststop off Likelike so it's closer to you. It's on School and Gulick. I would suggest Leeward Drive Inn in Waipahu. Been in existence since 1964. Fried noodles is what they're known for but don't miss out on the fried chicken, bbq pork sandwich and the fresh cut french fries.

Aloha Sean and Nhi!! This is why we always come back bc of all the grindz!! Mahalo nui for sharing even more onolicious eatz. We’ve updated our growing list. The Ube dessert looked so good. We’re going to the Leeward side to the gas station to try the chicken skin with musubi but also the Filipino food bc we love Filipino food!! If only our bellies could stretch to fit everything in!! We loved Ululani’s and so glad we had a chance to try it when we were there last month close to its opening. Going to eat it again when we go to Maui since that’s their home base. As always we loved the video and laughed out really loud at “you got a boyfriend” part and seeing Nhi’s reaction!! 😂 🤙🏽🙌🏽😋👍🏽

And Food Fiend just told me they had the same gas station and market in Kalihi with the chicken skin:) so that's another option. Hope you guys are able to visit longer to try more foods and we'll meet up on one of those days for sure!:) and yeah, funny story, I did that to Nhi and sat right next to her one time and an older lady told me she was watching me to make sure that Nhi was safe and then she realized we were together because we were vlogging and eating. Will be there a month again so definitely doing stomach stretches now so we can fit in all the ono grinds😋for sure bc our list 📝 is LONG!! We hope schedules work out so we can meet up, eat, and talk story. Fighting the traffic🚙🚕🚗🛻🚛 on H1 to go to the Leeward side is the only downside when trying to get to places like Kapolei, Nanakuli, or Wai'anae, but it's good to know that if we're too tired to make the drive that we can try the chicken skin in Kalihi. Let us know if they sell Filipino food there too!! Nhi's reactions to some of the things you do are definitely funny and entertaining😂. We feel bad for you when you go to places where you can't eat shellfish🦞🦀🦐 but LOVE♥ her energy when she's going to try it!!
