I would have the bathroom closed to the living room and open to the bedroom. And put in a tankless water heater and use that space for a stackable washer and dryer. Then use the current laundry area for a desk.

Nice price and appears to be built to HUD standards rather than the usual lower RVIA standards - nice to have a back door! For the additional $4k I would go 16' wide, make the bathroom entrance where the water heater is, and move the water heater to where the bathroom entrance is. No real need for a dishwasher.

I do love the size of the Thrifty. Can you switch out the tub for a standup shower? I wish the bathroom opened up into the bedroom not the living/kitchen area. One more question can a buyer have white or another color option of appliances?

Sweet little home! :) Have seen a slightly longer version of this model with a 2nd little guest bedroom. To which I'd do what this buyer did & move the hall guest room door to the LR & make the guest room a cozy little TV/library room/office extending from the main LR/kitchen area. And, if you add a full-size sleeper sofa to this little space, it can still work as a guest room. I think such a design would also visually expand the central LR/Kitchen space. Esp if you installed a pair of narrow glass French doors instead of a single solid door as shown here.

Why would you have the bathroom door next to the kitchen and living room? Why not switch it to where you enter from where the hot water closet is? It feels unsanitary.

I can't remember the name of the channel but they just did a tour of ten of these all ready to go. They ranged from 80 - 100k and they were awesome.

These are the quotes I got and they vary of course on many factors. delivery 5k, foundation avg this size 4k, 1bedroom septic 7k, electric 1k to 2k from pole to house. I was quoted 10k for install of home which is basically strap down and hook up from private contractor.

I'd dont like this set up a bathroom right?Where the living room is where it could be in the hallway.Make a door there.. and you hardly got any room to put furniture for a living room.So get rid of the bathroom door put it in the hallway.Then you got the whole back wall.At least you could add some furniture there.This is a bad setup

The kitchen and living room are like a studio, they share the same space.

Mobile homes aren't insulated well at all. I lived in a modern one. It was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.

That has changed. Get a 16ft wide they have 2x6 which uses thicker insulation. Get a white or light exterior also. They are energy efficient
