I grew up listening to John Denver's songs. Hundreds of artists have covered this song. But I feel Home Free took this one to another level for me. It is one of my favorite covers of this song. I love everything about it. It is a masterpiece. Home Free is my favorite a cappella group hands down.

You're this close to reaching 5K. Lived in suburb of Minneapolis shortly after John Denver did ...back before he was known as JD...when he was just a local guy. Loved his songs, way back in the day and feel HF did an amazing version by slowing this down, changing the feel. Home Free does a beautiful cover of 'Go Rest High on That Mountain.' With this being Memorial Day weekend, their official video has a military theme. But I prefer their 'Church Sessions' version (so pure, touching). Given your recent losses, either of these might be too emotional for you right now, or, perhaps, cathartic. You might want to check out one of them, at some point.

John Denver's version is obviously the classic. Chance's version with Peter Hollens is lovely and has a modern feel. But Home Free's version is still my family's favorite--hands down! Besides the unbelievable harmonies, getting to hear Adam Rupp's sweet tenor actually singing is such a great treat ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️

I always loved the late John Denver and I think he would have approved of their rendition of his song. The singing, beatboxing and harmonies are, of course, perfect and the scenery is gorgeous.

My deepest condolences to you on the loss of your father 🙏🍀😢 A cover again so wonderfully good. I also liked John Denver's, but this version of Home Free surpasses the original. Yet they do maintain the respect for the song. Rob, who nailed it, with his beautiful lead combined with the others is great again. Adam who has swallowed another drum kit😉 finishes it off completely. In one word phenomenal👏❤
