Shoot whatever you’re confident in! With that said, all the Sirius products are 👌

Thanks Matt. Been thinking about some Phoenix but was not aware of the diameter difference. I’m fletching with the Q2 threes as well. My personal favorite. Using the 1 degree holder aligned at zero I’m getting great accuracy from my X1

@@draggindeeroutdoors Yes I do…..and a lot of the credit goes to you. I really appreciate it. It is definitely the most accurate bow I own!

Wich plate do You use on the goat Tough jig? Only one I could get to work is the 1/2 degree

I’ve used both the 1/2 and 1 degree plates with 3” vanes. I personally haven’t had an issue with either.

Hi Matt..love your content which brings me to my question. I've been crossbow hunting for a number of years now and I ve always had excaliber crossbow right from the Axiom to my recent purchase of the mag air 305. Love the simplicity of excaliber and never had issues with limbs and anything. The one downside of the excaliber is its very loud ...no matter how much dampening stuff you have they're a loud bow. I'm really intrigued by the KI's. Honest opinion please...I want to purchase one next year...out of the 3 meaning Diesel X ...Vital X or Swat X...which do you think is the best bang for my buck. They are very quiet and seem like a real fun bow to shoot. My hunting ranges are 15 to 30 yards...maybe out to 40 but haven't needed to yet...I vaule your Honest opinion and appreciate any feedback

If the SWAT X1 is on sale and you can combo the sale price with my 10% off code (DRAGGINDEER24) I’d say that’s the best deal for how awesome that bow is. Otherwise, the Vital X 430 is real hard to beat for the price.

For crossbows what do you think would be to much foc or does it matter?

When tuning you’ll eventually hit a point where too much weight up front starts to fly poorly

What about feathers?

I don’t think feathers are durable enough for use on a crossbow

I have a amped 425,and i just ordered the 11.6 gpi do you think i will have any issues with a half moon nock? When cocked my string and knock don't line up perfectly with the pile driver bolts right now. How much thicker do you think a 11.6 gpi Sirius Phoenix is compared to a CE pile drivers, and do you think it would really matter if they were a smidge bigger? My bow is really accurate with this setup but i want to be able to shoot on out to at least 60 and have 1 inch groups, so i bought those arrows and got the sever robusto's at 150grn on the way! Im hoping for a mid 500grn bolt with high FOC , the pile drivers only have a 22 grn insert with 125 heads and lighted knocks so not great FOC on those! You think it's money well spent brother?

Check the manufacturer websites for OD between Sirius and Carbon Express. The Sirius arrows are great, however I’ve always shot the 9.6 GPI, which are standard ID/OD.

@draggindeeroutdoors I just measured the pile drivers and they are .345 and supposed to be .348, I open my calipers to the .358( Sirius 11.6gpi from website measurement) and it is probably only a crack as thick as a piece of art paper! That being said I divide that in half because it's only raising it half of that. It should not effect my nock point much more than it already is! I know I don't like how the string gets pulled down so hard it doesn't center on the nock 100 percent when loaded. But with bow uncocked they center perfectly on the string. One good thing is the hold down for the arrow will hold pressure down for probably the first 3 inches of the arrow being launched so it has time to correct itself and get centered before getting away from the hold down ! That being said I feel comfortable shooting the 11.6 gpi cause it's only half the thickness I have to worry about, and I think 2 more gpi will be a good thing! I know your swat has a barrel and I have not seen that design on the inside but I'm pretty sure you could get away with shooting those if you wanted to and that's a nice way 2 get 40ish extra grains and possibly a little stiffer spine! I'm assuming they just added one more layer of carbon on those compared to the 9.6 gpi! I hope this helps others that may be wondering about that ! I know I would have loved to found a comment like this while researching everything prior to ordering my arrows! I really hope these arrows are as good as everyone has said they are! My buddy has the Matthews XP and he said he gets 1-2 inch groups at 100 with a set of arrows the original owner gave him 4-5 yrs ago! Hopefully you get what you pay for cause those bad boys ain't cheap! God bless and God speed Matt! Keep the video's coming!
