Kansas newspaperwoman Joan Meyer died at the age of 98 on Aug. 12, 2023, a day after Marion police raided the home she shared with her son, Eric Meyer, publisher of the Marion County Record.
This new documentary from Wichita Eagle visual journalists Jaime Green and Travis Heying looks at how she tried to stand up for a cause she believed in as a longtime journalist and the events leading up to her death.
