This was the most amazing resort I have been to!! Great restaurants, golf carts available at all times and the best part is the main pool that overlooks the ocean. I've been twice and will return!!

The fives for me was ok, but we ended up leaving because how bad some of the rooms were. But everything else was amazing, the icecream, pool, and path were nice.

If you like privacy then I’d go for the higher ones like 20-21. Nothing on the ground floor.

Great video, we have a big group( all inclusive) headed to the Five's in March 2023. I have read somewhere that some of the water sports were not included i.e paddle boarding. Am I reading reviews from someone who didn't have the all- inclusive or did you find that there was a cost for some of the water sports? Also we have a large group of teens( 15,16) on the trip, do you think there are night time activities that will keep them from being bored(wifi will help...lol). I have read that there was not much for them to do.

None of the water sports on the beach are included. I highly recommend that you go on some excursions since the water is for it’s actually quite expensive on the beach. As for the Wi-Fi, it’s amazing it’s really fast so they will have no issue with any Wi-Fi connectivity. There’s actually some activities at night so there’s always something to do or see.

Hi Stacey, First I would like to say that if you have a high Villa number like 15 to 20 you will be further away from the beach. Some people like this because it’s closer to the adults only pool and some people like this because it’s further away from all the noise. With that being said, the penthouse I was in, in this video was in Villa eight which is close enough to the beach.

Hey Kevin! This video was so helpful, thank you. We just booked a 1 bedroom suite here but we are trying to decide which villa to request. The "older" side seems to be better located, but I heard some of the buildings are really run down (though the resort told me every villa has been rennovated since covid). Since you visited a lot of rooms, is there a villa you would recommend? Or do you think its better to be on the new side (FYI we will have a baby with us)

Hello, I appreciate the feedback :) I would recommend that you stay in new newer side of the resort. If I recall correctly, the higher the number, the newer. Yes you are a bit further but the hotel has multiple carts that pick up people and bring them around the resort (like a bus). I would like to let you know that some of the rooms (the older ones) have mold so please do not hesitate to request a new room if you do have a room with mold. I prefer the newer & further side because it was near the adult pool which was great since I was with my partner. But since you have a baby you might not be able to stay there much. I do want to mention that there is a great daycare on the resort near the beach but Im not sure if they take babies. I would personally go for the new buildings, also if you slip someone at the front desk $40 they may be able to upgrade you ;)

We are looking to book this for after Christmas. Is it truly all inclusive? I've seen comments that say the pop up food booths near the pools are not included. Also wondering how hard is it to make reservations. Great video!

Hi, Kim, thank you for your question. This resort is truly all-inclusive. People that may not have all-inclusive access are probably people who came in with some limited day pass. If you purchase the all-inclusive stay, you will have access to everything no problem. So don’t worry about anything in regards to that! You mentioned pop-up food places. During my stay here, there were none, so I can’t tell you for sure, but I am pretty sure they wouldn’t make you pay for it if you had an all inclusive band. The only thing that is not all inclusive at this resort would be the coffee shops and there is a coconut stand on the right side of the beach. It’s quite easy to make reservations, it’s in the same place where you can book excursions. If you have any questions just ask anyone and they will direct you to it. You can book dinner reservations for the same day and one day in advance. I highly recommend that you try the Italian restaurant multiple times during your stay because it is truly the best restaurant by far. I travelled to this resort with my partner so we were only two people, I think this made it a lot easier for us to get reservations to each restaurant as we had no issue most of the time.

The wifi at this resort is fantastic btw! Ultra high speed 😊 I would highly recommend this resort to you. Lots of monkeys in the trails between some villas.

@@dbreeze3710 The drinks were good, nothing crazy but very good! If you're looking for a lot of privacy this might not be the hotel for you because it is a big hotel with a lot of people and it allows people of all ages. If you want more privacy maybe you should look at going to a smaller boutique resort. I would say this resort does have privacy depending on how you play it, if you are booking a room with a private pool then you'll have a lot of privacy, you can also use the adult only pool. If you use the main pool there will be a ton of people there. The drinks are limited and really good and there's a bunch of cheap massage places on the beach if you walk down it. You can get massages for a cheap is $20 for an hour each.

You mention being Canadian. Can I ask who you booked with? I see a great A.I. price with WestJet and was wondering where they have their block of rooms? Also, did you encounter additional charges for premium alcohol or anything other than coffee and ice cream? Last question, how much for an americano at Marley coffee?

I also booked with them actually. I don't usually order premium stuff so I am not sure. Coffee was not cheap actually, $3-4USD I think.

Hey! There is a club on the resort but it is currently being renovated so you will not be able to enjoy it until probably later this year. The night life on the resort is alright, its not boring by any means but it could be improved as there are some shows but nothing crazy. However, if you want to hit the clubs, you can pay $20 USD to go downtown in a cab, it will also cost you $20 to come back. Hope that answered your questions!

I just got back from staying here in August 2023 and this resort is awful - even as EPIC members we were not given all of the benefits because "it's busy season". All of the restaurants were booked up and we could only get 1 slot in our 3 days we were there. Our 3 bedroom Penthouse smelled bad and the shower pressure was awful. We actually ended up leaving the resort early and moving to another classier resort. This place actually sucked - do not go here if you value your money and value quality
