I loved this, Taney’s! It looked like such a fun day for you! Now for the big question … How many of those containers are you going to clean and re-use? I’m for tossing them all and starting afresh. I re-use some containers for years, but after a big clean-up like this, I’m more likely to toss most!

Thanks ❤️ The cups get turned upside down to drain and then dry. I will use those for future flip cups, straight pours etc. The plastic containers I also drain and let dry. If I can easily peel the dry plaint out then I reuse, if not I toss.

OMG...gurlfriend...I have sooooooooo many leftover dribs and drabs....but all of my colors (or...most of 'em) are not going to play well together...LOL...I have my "regular" leftovers, my "thin-as-shit" leftovers, my "Bloom" leftovers....it's kinda out of control! You have a great idea here, though! I might be able to eek a couple of flippies out of the mess! AND WHO DOESN'T LOVE DOING FLIPPIES? I mean, c'mon!?! I can see where they'd be great backgrounds for mixed media pieces...but that foray was short for me. You got some awesome results! Now I wanna go play in paint. (go figure.)

Yeah, most of these were not the same consistency at all. I had to add thickener to some and water to others. I can't remember if you do stencil work? But these make great backgrounds for that as well ❤️ enjoy painting, can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks!

My flip cups always look muddy to me, any suggestions?

If you're having trouble with muddiness, a couple of things come to mind. Paint consistency is really important. If they are too thin it's easy to get mud. Also if you are using too many complimentary colors it can get muddy with flip cups easier than something like a ring pour. I hope that helps!
