Sorry for changing the topic… October 7 is an event taken out of context. Israel has been expropriating farms and houses from civilians in Palestine in an accelerated manner since 2020. This is completely against International Law, even if Palestine was not recognised as a State. They bombed several times in recent years, not Gaza, but the place where there is no Hamas. Those things barely come up on media.

We know the Arab-Israeli conflict is far more complex than a Muslim-Jewish religious conflict because Palestinian Christians (eg Khalil Sakakini, George Habash, Wadie Haddad) have always played important roles in the Palestinian Nationalist movement, even in some of its more violent expressions (eg the Entebbe hijacking and the assassination of RFK).

HOW COULD THERE BE SUCH STRIKING CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE THEOLOGY OF THE EPISTLES OF JAMES (THE JUST) FOLLOWERS OF JESUS AND THE MUSLIM FOLLOWERS OF MUHAMMAD ? IF the first Jewish-Christians(the earliest disciples and followers of Jesus the Prophet) lived in and around Jerusalem during the 1stCE and then vanished from history at the end of the 5thCE as historians believe, how could they be linked to ISLAM, which appeared in early 7thCE Arabia with a new call for ISLAM Faith, Repentance, and Salvation ? [James D. Tabor/Robert Eisenman] za

Hey Gabriel! God bless you for what you said on Quran 4:157! > If the Prophet Muhammad announced to his companions that Jesus never died, but rather someone who was made miraculously to look like him died in his place, i.e. if he gave a historical account of the crucifixion which fundamentally contradicts that which Jews and Christians had been reporting for hundreds of years, then certainly such a revolutionary account - if any - would be well remembered and well preserved. (...) When the Quran is read in this light, it quickly becomes apparent that the passage on the crucifixion is fully in line with Christian anti-Jewish rhetoric. A major theme of this rhetoric, of course, is the portrayal of the Jews as prophet-killers. Accordingly the Quran 4:155 accuses the Jews of “murdering the prophets”. When the Quran then alludes to the crucifixion just two verses later, it means to give the cardinal example of just such a murder. What do you think of my John 13:34 argument that Jesus claimed to be divine in synoptic Gospels - to defeat Muslim apologists, - agnostic New Testament scholar Bart Ehrman, - Unitarian/Restorationist/Non-trinitarian Christians ( of course Islam pretty much is restorationist Christianity ) - Ben Shapiro who thinks Jesus was some guy who was crucified by Romans like many other Jews then & - Rabbi Shmuley Boteach who thinks similarly and said so in 'Kosher Jesus' ? A How do you explain the new commandment John 13:34, which sums up the new Christian covenant and is a supersession of the 2 commandments that sum up the old Mosaic covenant Leviticus 19:18 & Deuteronomy 6:5 cf Mark 12:34? B What greater commandment could there be than 'Love one another as God loves you' ? To me, God did not say that yet because God did not yet establish neighbours (cf parable of the good Samaritan. also Leviticus 19:33-34) and did not yet come to Earth in human form. C Bart Ehrman says Jesus never claimed to be divine in synoptic Gospels. But since John 13:34 sums up the new covenant, why wouldn't the 'Jesus' of any of the synoptic Gospels not say John 13:34, same as the 'Jesus' in the Gospel of John? Again, cf Mark 12:34. John 13:34 is the summary of the whole new Christian covenant and so must have existed in the synoptic gospels.

@nicbentulan
@nicbentulan 2 ай бұрын
@@vahidindonlic7012 what do you think of this? Faith in Jesus gives me faith in myself. Matthew 5:13-16. I learned from Brene Brown that you cannot love your others more than yourself. Notice the difference between Leviticus 19:18 and John 13:34. Loving your neighbour as yourself doesn't mean much if you think of yourself as a slave of Allah instead of as a child son daughter of Yahweh or a sibling brother sister of Jesus. How do you love not just your neighbour but one another the way Jesus/God loves you? ( Btw John 13:34 is a divine claim and MUST HAVE existed in the synoptic gospels. ) Deuteronomy 6:5 is the key. Loving God is how you love yourself. Afaik Deuteronomy 6:5 is a summary of the 1st 3 commandments while Leviticus 19:18 is of the last 7. Sooo... Eg 3rd commandment. Take a break on Sunday/Saturday to go to church/synagogue. Eg 1st commandment. Love the Truth not the lies that you like to tell yourself or the lies that other people say about you. Loving God is really just like ... how does a 5yo child love their parents? It's a different way from how a 40yo loves their parents. Loving God is really just acknowledging that God wants what's best for you. At least in Christianity & Judaism. Yahweh is our Father. In Islam loving Allah is well… not quite the same. We love Yahweh & one another because Yahweh ( & Yeshua ) loved us 1st. In Islam Allah doesn't love unconditionally. Allah loves you not even if but only if you love Allah 1st. --- More info : - Ha6uVGB-Mtw

WHO WAS SIMON OF CYRENE, THAT SUDDENLY APPEAR IN THE GOSPELS OF MARK, LUKE AND MATTHEW BUT NOT IN THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO JOHN ? QUESTION: Was Simon of Cyrene the one crucified in place of Jesus, as Jesus was able to shapeshift and making himself appear and disappear at will, as proposed by biblical historian and scholar Prof Dr Morton Smith ? Prof Dr Morton Smith's Proposal : In his book "Jesus the Magician" (1978) : *Jesus possessed magical abilities, including shape-shifting. *Simon of Cyrene was crucified in Jesus' place. *Jesus' post-resurrection appearances. *Divine providence, not magic. Prof Dr Morton Smith's theory remains speculative. Referencing Jesus' remarkable abilities described in the Gospels. *Jesus Appearance and Disappearance : - Luke 24: 31 (Jesus vanishes from sight) - John 20: 19, 26 (Jesus appears and disappears in a locked room) *Shapeshifting or Transformation : - Matthew 17: 2, Mark 9: 2-3, Luke 9: 29 (Transfiguration) - John 21: 4 (Jesus appears as a stranger) Interpretations : 1. Divine Authority : Jesus' abilities demonstrate God's power and by God's Permission 2. Spiritual Significance : Emphasizes Jesus' prophetic nature. 3. Miraculous Events: Showcases Jesus' ability to control over physical reality by God's Permission. Theological Perspectives:* *Omnipotence : God's power working through Jesus. *Mystical union : Jesus' connection with the Father. The Quran and Hadith describe Jesus' miracles as Signs of God's power and authority. The Qur'anic Miracles of Jesus Christ son of Mary : 1. Virgin birth (Qur'an 3: 47, 19: 20-21) 2. Speaking from the cradle (Qur'an 3: 46, 5: 110) 3. Healing the blind and lepers (Qur'an 3: 49, 5: 110-111) 4. Raising the dead (Qur'an 3: 49, 5: 110-111) 5. Creating birds from clay (Qur'an 3: 49, 5: 110-111) 6. Table of food from heaven (Qur'an 5: 112-115) Hadith(Prophet Muhammad traditional narratives) Miracles of Jesus Christ son of Mary (pbuh): 1. Bringing clay birds to life (Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 4, Book 55, Hadith 644) 2. Healing a leper (Sahih Muslim, Book 26, Hadith 5593) 3. Restoring sight to the blind (Sahih Muslim, Book 26, Hadith 5594) 4. Raising the dead (Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 38, Hadith 4393) Qur'an Prophetic Titles of Jesus Christ son of Mary(pbuh) : 1. Eesa ibnu Maryam (Jesus son of Mary, Peace be upon him) 2. Al-Masih (The Messiah) 3. Kalimatullah (Word of God) 4. Ruhullah (Spirit of God) Islamic Perspective of Jesus son of Mary(pbuh). Jesus' miracles demonstrate : 1. God's Omnipotence 2. Jesus' Prophethood and Messengership 3. The Truth of Absolute Monotheism of GOD (Tawheed) Similarities with Christian Accounts : *Virgin birth *Healing miracles *Raising the dead Differences : *Islamic emphasis on God's Unity *Jesus' role as Prophet, not divine. Scholarly Insights : 1. Historical Context : Understands Jesus' abilities within 1st-century Jewish thought. 2. Literary Analysis : Examines narrative purposes and symbolism. Similar Events in Other Traditions : *Torah/Old Testament: Elijah's ascension (2 Kings 2: 1-14) *Apocryphal Texts : Apocryphal Acts of the Apostles Explore Further. 5:12 Don’t claims about the strictness of monotheism people distinguish “Judaism” and consequently islam presume that Rabbinical Judaism’s idea of oneness was always the only school of thought in ancient Israelite religion? Which is factually not the case. Not to mention, people rarely seem to acknowledge the fact that the God of the Tanakh is identified almost 7000 times as YHWH, an exclusive name that he is stated will be his name forever, and one of the main sins of the Israelites was that they would syncretise Yahweh worship with foreign traditions. Yet the God of the Quran bears a different name, from a different region, but because Islam loans “prophets” and claims to follow on from the previous scriptures we pretend it does? The Israelites weee told to worship YHWH. You cannot divorce him from the religion(s).

WHO WAS THIS JAMES THE JUST ? The Epistle of James(the Just) an implicit divergence from mainstream Pauline-Christianity and its resonance with the Muslim faith - parallelism with Islam and the Qur'an. The divergence between the teachings of James and Paul were unmistakable. Even more telling was the historical fact that the two men had become the originator of two different branches of Christianity. James, who assumed the leadership of the Jesus movement in Jerusalem right after Jesus''crucifixion', was the pillar of "Jewish Christianity". This was quite different from the Pauline Christianity that spread mainly among pagan-Gentiles in the Greco-Roman world, and gradually became the world's most popular religion which we know today. Jewish Christians, despite being devoted followers of Jesus, were still Jews - in practice, doctrine, dietary law and mind-set. In other words, they still observed the Mosaic Law, sought their salvation in the Judaism's way, and believed in concept such as One Unique GOD (not triune) and a promised Messiah(not divine) in the Jewish sense, that a man could be saved only by two things: Faith in One Unique GOD and good deeds. "There are two completely separate and distinct Christianity embedded in the New Testament. One is quite familiar and became the version of the Christian faith known to billions over the past two millenia. Its main proponent was the apostle Paul (of Tarsus). The other has been largely forgotten and by the turn of the first century AD had been effectively marginalized and suppressed by the other ...Its champion was none other than James the brother of Jesus." ~ James D. Tabor, scholar of Christian origin and ancient Judaism, "The Jesus Dynasty: The Hidden History of Jesus, His Royal Family, and the Birth of Christianity" (pg. 261 New York: Simon and Schuster, 2006) Contrast with Pauline-Christianity: 1. Paul of Tarsus's emphasis on faith alone for salvation (Romans 3: 28). 2. Rejection of the Mosaic Law for pagan-Gentile converts (Galatians 2: 16). 3. From Jewish-Christians to the development of Trinitarian theology. Historical Context: 1. James' leadership in Jerusalem (30-62 CE). 2. Paul's missionary work among Gentiles (40-65 CE). 3. Council of Jerusalem (Acts 15) - James and Paul's differing views. Islamic Perspective: • James' teachings align with Islamic Absolute Monotheism (Tawheed). • Emphasis on Faith and Good deeds (Qur'an 2: 25, 103: 1-3). • Rejection of the Doctrine of Trinity and divinity of Jesus.(4: 171, 5: 116) • That the Messiah is Jesus and never crucified (Qur'an 4: 157-158) Scholarly insight: Robert Eisenman's "James the Brother of Jesus" explores James' significance. Reflection Questions: 1. How do James' teachings differ from Paul's? 2. What implications do these differences have for Christian theology? 3. How do Islamic views on Monotheism and Salvation relate to James' teachings? za
