I like using a trampoline pole on the end of my wrench instead of another wrench. I think it helps much more in terms of leverage.

Do you have to disconnect the tie rod if just doing ball joints? I have seen videos where they don’t disconnect it. Just wondering. I plan on doing this repair soon

Ball joint isn’t connected to the tie rods so should be able to focus on that part without disassembling the tie rods.
