There's simply no comparison with the 2009 GT500 to a ZL1... Ford had no clue back then and were relying upon the Vegas-based tuning shop for upgrades. When Multimatic & Miller took over after 2010, privateer Paul Brown dominated in his Boss302 taking the Pirelli WC series in 2011, Ford finally woke up and threw the kitchen sink at the Mustang platform! I know, because I was there at every race across the Globe covering the action!

Cool. Yes, this wasn't a "fair" comparison by any means. The Mustang driver asked for me to take video to better understand what the rearend of the car was doing under cornering. We had intended to make a longer video, but technical difficulties made most of the footage unusable. Maybe we'll get a chance to shoot it again. The track conditions were far from ideal with 90 degree temps and lots of rubber on track from Gridlife. This was all for fun.
