My Friend Jason connected with the owner of a property in need of a cleanout that had plenty of long forgotten cars needing to be sold off and removed, this is the 1st walk through seeing what they had. Jason wanted all the air cooled vws that were there and has been removing them this summer,. here is a link to his playlist doing just that. • NH Buses in Stream

Hopefully they had permethrin treated clothing and 30% DEET on their skin. “Formication” is a specific type of hallucination that feels like insects crawling on your skin. I hate ticks!

Brings back memories of junk yards that closed back in the 70s in central NY. When I was a kid me and some others grabbed every hood ornament we could get. Good times
@wirenutt57
@wirenutt57 Жыл бұрын
I also grew up in central NY. So many junk yards back in the day, both operating and abandoned, 2 abandoned junk yards within 3 minutes of the house I grew up in, and 4 more within 10 minutes walking. So many 40's, 50's and 60's cars just left and abandoned. The people who worked the junk yard from the 30's to the 60's and lived in the house in front got very old and stopped working the yard, then they died, the house would become uninhabitable, and everything left to rot. Sometime in the later 70's someone would buy the property for back taxes and scrap the cars the original owner spent so many hours acquiring and picking parts off, and probably just about paid for the property with the money earned from scrapping.

Seeing the Datsun brought back a fond memory! My mother bought a brand new 1976 Datson B210 off the dealer floor! A few yrs later I was doing some work on it and I just happened to look inside the driver's side front fender well and to my surprise I see MILLER beer can labels printed on the sheet metal!😄 I almost died when I saw that! Gave credence to the ol term( crunches like a beer can)!
@giggiddy

Are you saying that a car built in Japan had a metal panel that had an American beer company printed on it?
@genehasenbuhler2594
@genehasenbuhler2594 Жыл бұрын
@@giggiddy THAT is exactly what I'm saying! The labels were green with gold print and white on them and the word MILLER was in red from back in the time when aluminum cans didn't exist! The entire inside of the fender was printed! To this day I wish I had taken a picture of it! But in 1979 we didn't have a Polaroid camera yet and I was only a tween at the time!

Car stealing you mean? They are trespassing and going through someone's cars. most of the cars are being blocked by trees they have absolutely no authority to cut. Every single tree is a collectable lawsuit as are the cars and anything in them. This is a crime we are watching. They claim this land is "abandoned" There is no such thing.

I was born in 1971, will be 53 in two month's, time sure does fly. You fellas be careful out there, and check yourself good for ticks. Those ticks have multip!ied considerably than when i was a kid. I never saw any ticks in the woods in southern michigan until about ten year's ago, and now they are everywhere. Ticks can be really tiny to, the size of ground black pepper, and carry several dideases besides lime disease, so shower really good, check your clothes well, and throw them in a clothes dryer to kill them if your clothes aren't to dirty. G-d bless you fellas.

A feller has to wonder if these were parked and saved in a previous life by someone possibly looking to restore them or just scrap...I see potential in the VW's as possible parts but I just hate to see these things just left to rot...as many of you VW fanatics probably feel as well. It's gonna take a Herculean effort to get at them...other than a labor of Love is it going to be profitable 🤔...Amazing content nonetheless and as always appreciate you sharing your amazing adventures with us.😎🇺🇸🛠️👨‍🔧🔧🛻
