When towing, you shouldn't pull more than 80% of your tow capacity. (You're going to need to add gear, which can add up to your max capacity fast). You're going to want to install trailer brakes, and perhaps a transmission cooler if you don't want to overheat your vehicle on hills.

@@kellyname5733 12' is the Taylor Coach Bobbie and it has the shower/toilet along with a fridge/freezer, 2 burner stove, AC, stereo, TV. @@MustSeeTech I'm sure it was a simple oversight, as you wrote. I don't feel misled at all. I appreciate you sharing all this great info! I respect people's right to express their own preferences with their own money, but I think it's absurd when people (in this same amount of space) include a big fancy kitchen and/or a bunch of decorative fluff at the expense of the toilet "because bathrooms are everywhere". Yeah, I'm sure "everywhere" is always open at 2am, and welcomes people who aren't paying customers coming in for a dump. I'm also sure it's super-fun to make that trip when it's ice-cold or raining; to get dressed first when you really need to go, etc.
@gerger72874 жыл бұрын
A bathroom is 100% must have, along with the interior height has to least be six foot five. Another option would should be mandatory with any RV is built in solar, it is this an important as having a bath, or having a kitchen. I can do without an awning, but if you have an awning with a side wall screens, it really does expend the exterior usage of the trailer big time. I'm not a big fan of single axle trailers either short or long, they have a tendency a bouncing too much between the tow vehicle and the pole vehicle. I would prefer even on a short trailer, a tandem axle. Also I wish hundred percent of all RVs, had wider doors, so they can accommodate a wheelchair. 99% of the RVs manufacturer today or manufactured yesterday cannot accommodate a wheelchair or a walker.
@joewoodchuck38244 жыл бұрын
Unless you're using a ramp for a wheelchair, the door width can accommodate a folded one. If not using a ramp, you're just walking through the door and thus not need to have full operational chair or walker width. Dual axle trailers require larger tow vehicles which not everyone owns or is willing to own.

Handicaps also follow into that rule of thumb, I need to stay in their wheelchair I need to be able to have easy access around any RV. On a whole, the RV industry has not been very favorable to the handicap. Plus the sewer location for hookup is rather low, a lot of seniors Ranch their backs and are bedridden, they have a hard time reaching that low with hip problems and knee problems.

Hi, Nora. Thanks for the feedback. I am working on reducing my accent!

Too expensive. Not worth it IMO. With those high prices, you can pay for at least >200 nights of motel or hotel...Not to mention the hassle to tow, set up, store and maintain it...

I think you are missing the point of camping 😂

@@MustSeeTech My sister in law used to make that same comment about hotel/motel ..... she missed the whole point too 🙄
