i've been all over the map trying courses, i think i've tried three already. One was a complete waste of time, the second one sort of works but I have to pump so much money into it first for months before I see results. I want to believe that MMM will work for me if I tried it.

Probably only on the Mute Prophet covers channel we're starting up. I keep it in Standard D tuning, so it's perfect for most of the covers we're planning to put up there. kzbin.info/door/U0b1i2VNssAw5njLlKfLpg

Hey, thanks for the vid. What about Instagram marketing? Does the course cover that? Looks like the course is slightly outdated, so wondering if it covers this important platform. Also, when you mentioned some figures, how many songs/albums do you have in total? Is it possible with, say, 2 albums?

Hey buddy, I wouldn't bother with MMM. Mostly Facebook oriented. Very complicated, I gave it up.....wish someone would have warned me.

Hi there, do u also give private lessons regarding music marketing? I'd like to start as a freelancer as it seems to be the fastest way to earn money right off the bat to get clients instead of slow building the fan base which sadly can't afford on that now.

Hey Kevin, I really appreciate this review!! I am curious, do you sell downloads only, or CD's, or both?
@KevinGoetz4 жыл бұрын
I sell almost entirely CDs, but I bundle the CDs with a download for people who don't have a disc drive in their computer or car or whatever. We include a ton of bonus features and behind-the-scenes access, and treat the CD more like a VIP badge than just "music." That way it stays relevant even if the album is on Spotify or whatever.

Hey Kevin, Ive been taking alot of interest into your videos lately. First off thank you for all your advice👍 Im definitely looking to join the MMM. Heres my question for you and possibly a future video you can do. So my situation is im in a death metal band and so far we only have released a 5 song EP and 2 runs of merch (shirts,long sleeves,hoodies). We are currently working on our full length and hope to have it out soon. My question is would it be better to apply this once we have released better quality sounding material aswell as a larger variety of songs? Or should we try to do it before the release? I feel the better quality will help us out more but I wanted to get your advice on it. Thanks for your time and your awesome advice man🤘

Hey Daniel! I definitely think you'll have better results with a full-length album in my opinion. As a general rule the more music you have, the easier it will be to profit. That being said though, the alternative is also valid, you can try selling your EP,, or even something like offering the EP as a bonus to anyone who backs you on Patreon through a specific link or something (the psychology is different with an offer like that, might be more effective) as a way to start building your audience. You could release one song a month on Patreon, and then once all the songs on the full-length have been released, put it out as a CD to the audience you've now accumulated. So in short I think you could make it work either way, depending on how eager you are to get started :)

Hi Kevin, nice to meet you. Great video,-very inspired and helpful. I've got just one question. I've found your name at savvymusicianacademy courses site made by Leah McHenry. There is your positive feedback about her courses. And now I see this video about MMM. So there is my questions: did you really use Leah's courses? Is your feedback at her site real? And if you have used both so which one is better: MMM or savvymusician academy? Thank you in advance.

I've taken The Online Musician - it didn't work for me personally, and I was NOT pleased with some of her disingenuous upsell practices. I'm aware of the quote you're talking about, and it's taken out of context. Those results did not come from The Online Musician. In my opinion, MMM is INFINITELY better. I'm sure TOM might work for some people, but MMM is superior in every way if I'm to compare my experience with the two courses.

I went and bought this course and I got to do the intro video and then the website crashed and wouldn’t open and I couldn’t log in. Apparently it’s a worldwide issue - I have emailed them and received a reply saying it should be back up in a few hours but it’s still down and I have heard no updates at all. I am tempted to ask for a refund but really want to do the course...

Don't worry about it. They're flooded with support requests right now but they're working hard to get it running again. Just give them the time it takes - website maintenance is an absolute nightmare but they'll get it fixed =)

Hey Kevin, I'm curious if you could share some strategies for filing your taxes for your music business...or, if that's included in MMM 4.0. Thanks!
@MuteProphetBandOfficial4 жыл бұрын
Hey Tim. No, MMM doesn't go into anything like that. I use TurboTax for it. And what I'm about to tell you should in no way be considered legal tax advice...however: Little-known tip, the cost of Facebook advertising is actually tax-deductible. So that's a pretty massive tax break right there from using the MMM method.
