It’s just initial excitement to this new fun activity with (Fenton) he might calm down if he does it more often. He certainly looked calmer in morning. Be wary of onions in food with him. Great times with mini you and the hound. Great vid

Wow! Fenton's excitement adds such a thrill to this video. Everytime I heard "sheep" or the mention of sheep it added to the fun and I started laughing out loud. If he gets use to them, hopefully he will calm down. But this trip was no fail if you were looking for a change of pace. Great you brought the kid along. They both will keep you young.

Ohhhh, I feel your pain!! We took our dogs camping for many years and on one occasion thought it would be a good idea to give them their own tent! Tent and lumpy shapes moving down the hill then they broke out and I swear they were laughing. No judgement here with your doggie training my friend, we've had the buggers for years and so get it. You tried your best and for us, it was yet another great video to watch. Thank you. I hope 'mini me' is ok too.

What a lovely experience for mini you. I've taken my daughter wild camping no tent just underneath the stars a couple times and hopefully next week while the weather is good. We live on the Breckon beacons so can be in the middle of nowhere in a half hour hike, easy to walk out if it gets ruff and enough to be a mini adventure. well, if a dog attacks a sheep, or even just goes for one, the farmer's entitled to shoot it. in either case, the farmer can report the offence, and then sue for compensation. equally, you don't want to know what can happen if a dog runs wild in a field full of cows or horses.

Keep taking Mutley with you and I'm sure he will get better. You're so right that it's boring for a dog to go on the same walk everyday so it shows what a caring dog owner you actually are. So what if it went a little bit pear-shaped the first time. We all learn from our mistakes. I think you need to trim down what you take on these wild camps though! Fair play to you carrying that much stuff but more importantly spending great quality time with your mini-me. Total respect!

Tip of the day, put pan on stove , put 3 or 4 metal tent pegs in the ground around the pan and leave higher than the pan to stop the pan from falling off, you should be able to stir and flip food effortlessly , never actually tried it but it popped in my mind while watching your video

problem is mate, the dog isnt used to seeing cattle and wild life so its going to be curious. Our dog was the same and we kept her on the lead first 4-5 trips, but let her get up and close to them if she could, to get her used to the sheep and sometimes cows as that dulls their senses to them. As soon as the dog runs off when you take the lead off, when you catch him put the lead straight back on and make it short, it will be a form of punishment. When the dog is off the lead give it small treats every 15 or so mins, he'll learn the reward and punishment system that way.

Wow nothing like throwing yourself in the deep end! Dog, child, filming, uphill walks and sheep = much stress! I would suggest taking dog out on your own, shorter trips to get him used to camping then when he knows the drill he will calm down. Get a harness that is more difficult to escape from and take a bone or something to keep him busy while you are pitching your tent. I have 2 dogs and they were both nightmares the first few times we went camping - overnight in campervan but they are pros now and the 3 of us have a great time. I’m glad you survived!

Adam, as a dog owner I was shocked to see you walking the dog with an extendable lead and no harness. You need a running lead attached to a belt. You would be hands free. You were to blame for the dog getting loose. The dog needs to be properly secured. In Wales, dogs chasing sheep are shot so cannot be running free. I would like you to take the dog again but just the two of you. I camp with two cats and a dog. Give the dog a bone to chew on when having time out.

Absolute epic vlog mate on Kinder Surprise. Your cooking is legendary and that sheep shiznick just adds to the occasion. Mimi you will be thanking you later in life when his mates are going down with ebola and he's standing firm. Maybe the bacon was a bit tough but them molars grow back pretty quick. Fentons a bit of a legend. He just needs a bit of time with that geezer who does When Bad Dogs go Lunatic, and think he'll be fine. Our jack Russel used to beg to be released, give you the I won't run away eyes, before running miles to attack the nearest alsation. Its doggy nature, but some of them farmers have guns, so probably best have him on a lead near the old sheep. Think your in love with that 🎪.
