You won't be disappointed. And what's great about this bag is once you come home you can use it to carry pretty much anything. When I don't have pipe gear in it for vacations I carry other things to and from work, ie: my iPad, a camera, a knife, ear buds, extra batteries, my cell phone charger, etc. have fun at the Beach 😀

Chris, I've been considering shelling out the bucks for one of the Smokin' Holsters leather bags. However this bag you reviewed is not only more practical for carrying multiple items, it is much more affordable, and looks to be quite durable. I think I am going to give this one a try, and get myself better organized when traveling with my pipes and accessories. Thanks so much for this review!

Hey, I know it’s late for this type of comment. I only started watching your videos recently but have smoked pipes off and on for thirty years. My understanding is you’re going through a rough patch. I hope you and your loved ones are doing better. I have a Tanto as well. Didn’t buy it for my pipes or CCW. But you certainly have made me think about using it to pack all my pipe stuff into it. I actually use 2 different bags, similiar setup though. I have a 4 pipe leather bag with enough space to store all my lighters tampers etc. I put that bag in a Craftsman tool bag which holds the pipe cleaners, tobacco, etc. I can fit probably 12 tins in it if I wanted to, and it isn't a whole lot bigger than your setup, I love that bag tho. I carry my entire cleaning and maintenance setup, reamer and all with me when I travel, because I have room, and you never know what to expect on Vacation for 2 or 3 weeks at a time, haven't had to use the reamer yet, but you never do know when you will find a nice estate pipe at a shop in the middle of nowhere and don't want to wait to smoke it until you get home. :)

So far I have not gone anywhere for more then a week, something else I do when I go out of town is I check the Internet to see if there is a full service tobacconist near where I am going, and again I have been lucky in this regard, there is usually one in the city, or near by, so if I find I have forgotten something they usually have it.

Yea, I do look for tobacco shops in the area I plan to travel to as well, but have yet to need anything from them. I just wind up buying a bunch more tobacco, especially local and house blends I can't find @ home. I haven't bought a pipe in my travels yet, but if I find the right one, I always make sure I am loaded for bear. :)

I recently purchased one of the hazard tanto bags to carry my pipes and accessories. I also carry 4 pipes as well, however my pipes does not seem to fit as well as yours. Do you mind sharing with me exactly what pipes you put into this bag on this video as far as the brand size and number. Thank you for your time and informative videos.

Michael Case - the pipes I put into this bag are all Savinelli Prince shape #315, accept one which is called a Roma 305. Go to smokingpipes.com when you get there you will see a tab in the left corner that says pipes, press it a drop down window will ask new pipes or estate pipes, press new, then a window will appear of pictures of pipes and who makes them, scroll down to Savinelli press it, then it will take you to all the Savinelli pipes they sell, at the top under Savinelli press filter, then press shape, then Prince, it will take you to all the prince designs they sell, but the prince 315, and the Roma 305 will fit in the bag. 👍👍👍

Let's take each question individually, first the tobacco, it depends on how much you smoke, I typically smoke about 4 to 5 bowls per day, so three small jars usually last me a week to week and half. The pipes, I have not noticed any scratches on my pipes, but, if your nervous about it you can use the pipe sock that comes with your pipe to protect them. 😃😃😃

I know that airports don't allow certain items such as lighters or pointy sharp items. What should I be ok to have with me in order to not have any check in problems? My guess is that if i have everything except my lighter with me i should be ok?
