Pro tip: go into the level editor, find the sunsky object, max the texsize, and add a few more zeros to the overdark factor. You'll see detailed shadows like never before. At the risk of further popin on more open maps, you can even lower the shadow distance to get even higher res up close (just make sure fadestartdistance is lower)

Give this game raytracing and I honestly think it'd look incredible. Games like forza have baked in lighting that just can't be replicated in such a dynamic game like this. RT reflections for self reflection and reflective environments + RTGI to finally rid ourselves of the flat look and replace ssao would be incredible!

RT is just something nice to turn on, but it doesn't make any significant difference for visuals. Better render distance would be the most significant upgrade currently, the LoD pop in is very noticeable and weakest part of the graphics.

Wait wtf Incase someone cares: It's because the trailer is attached to the vehicle so because there is no self reflection without rtx as far as I know the trailer doesn't show up in the mirror. That's because the game first renders the reflections as a panoramic view of the map and other vehicles and then project's that image on the vehicle to make it look like a reflection. Only the wood is showing up because as it isn't attached the game is able to render it. Sorry for my spelling incase it's bad.
