I remember making beamng videos back in 2013 on another channel but no one cared, then late 2016 I saw it started to pick up and started a beamng channel that then got axed by youtube when youtube was banning channels at random (it had 20k subs) so I started Car Pal in early 2017 and here we are, with MuYe one of the pillars of the whole beamng community 🚗

Problem with removing all kids content from KZbin is an absolutely massive amount of content gets falsely flagged as kids content, even if it's something for all audiences. Fan animations of shows geared towards kids for example. Problem is that there's plenty of adult fans of kids content (which i wouldn't know anything about don't look at my profile pic) and I really would not like to have to use a separate app too view videos from those creators. The animators probably want that on their public KZbin for portfolio reasons too.

@@mrrooter601 That and also a system to get rid of the flagging or allowing comments on normal KZbin.. Instead videos are marked as Kids and treated the same, I presume as I've never been on KZbin Kids. So all the comments from a 10 year old video flagged Kids are lost or just hidden. I'm not knowledgeable in this field, but I doubt very much they can't make it work. They did have issues with sorting from oldest to newest, so maybe they do struggle with making features like this work.. A simpler solution would be to not automatically mark anything and you only get Kids content if the uploader set it to that. Only after that should the process to get it it onto Kids take place. But not automatically so uploaders get screwed by the marking.

Yeah, and the opposite also happens really often. Most, if not the entirety of childrens content are NOT classified as children content when they're posted. The people who runs these channels (in any genre of kids content) are usually scumbags in thirst of easy money. And the content be classified as a children one is specially important because it then unables KZbin to understand this content is geared towards children, making it available on the KZbin Kids app and disabling comments and revenue, from example, a thing most of the people behind these channels don't want to happen. There are kids channels with tens of millions of subscribers that are obviously geared towards children and that are totally ad-enabled and making the most amount of money as possible from these children. It's disgusting. KZbin won't find a solution for that other than literally just beg the KZbinr to use the "kids video" function, because KZbin also makes money from the ads. That's how mafia works, basically.

As an artist myself I fully understand the BeamNG shorts creator protecting his videos using the copyright system. Especially given the success of his videos. He was very kind to send you an email beforehand (something you don't actually have to do if your content is taken and rebroadcast by someone else). I know in the current era of the internet the consensis is that you can just take whatever you want, under any circumstance. To me though it makes sense that if you have an original idea, like those shorts were when he started making them, that some kind of protection should be in place that keeps others from taking your original content and rebroadcasting it... which is apperently what you did in your livestream. I know for those unfamiliar with content/art creation it might seem strange, but think about it from the eye of the original content creator (in this case BeamNG Shorts). Another example that get's defended often is someone like XQC reacting to videos. To me the idea that he should be able to take a video, which potentially took many hours to make, and profit of it himself without puting in any of the work creating the actual video, or compaensating the original creator, is insane (I'm only bringing this up cus of the recent react content discussions, but it feels very similar to what you did in the livestream you mentioned). I didn't do much more research into this particular case, apart from watching this video. The situation might be different from what I can see here but on the surface it looks like you took someone else's content, without a license or even any form or written permission, and rebroadcasted it for your own financial benefit (I assume you make money though this youtube channel). it's strange to me that you would even consider it to be a personal attack that BeamNG Shorts took down your content, to me he just did what he had to do to protect his own content... I don't want to comment on the other things said in the video, idk enough about it to do so...
