passed first time with 1 minor…I watched ALL Morden driving videos, search rose hill roundabout explanation and Morden hall roundabout explanation…there is also an app where you pay £12 and it gives you ALL UK driving test routes…go through all 19 routes at least once!!! Good luck, be yourself, look in mirrors, and listen to instructions..,when reversing remember to look back, stop when other cars / pedestrians come…I didn’t get tested on parallel / bay parking but make sure you are confident in this just incase….i had about 20 hours worth of lessons…find a really good instructor I had a nasty one, went through about 4 instructors, my last one was the best.

Excellent driver, well done! And great advice from Francis. I had the worst driving instructor, diminished my self confidence. I stayed with her for 30 plus hours and I regretted it as it meant I needed double the time with my new instructor simply to build my confidence back. Best advice to treat driving lessons like going for a haircut - bad service , change!

I watch both channels and love both. However I felt myself feeling more confident in my ability when watching Francis mock test , when watching Pin I felt like I was going to fail 😂 I think he uses the “be more strict so it’s easier on the test” tactic. His ultimate driving course which I purchased was fantastic though!

I like these videos but the roads are usually relatively quiet and I am trying to study what to do in busy roads, where lanes between traffic lights fill up easily, and if you aren't paying attention, you could be stuck blocking traffic. I want to see how others react.

When you're going left second exit shouldn't you enter with no indicator and only indicate once you pass the exit before the exit you are going to take.

Well, I'm not sure, but I think that he shouldn't have turned right from that lane (with left arrow marking). Also the car in front of him shouldn't have turned left from that lane (with right arrow marking). But somebody should confirm this.

There are no arrows before the roundabout so he's right to use the left lane on approach. To do it perfectly he could have joined the middle or left lane on the roundabout. The left lane doesn't lead off the roundabout and both left and middle lanes take you to the outside of the roundabout after the first exit.

It's personal preference and also what you've been taught by your instructor. Neither is incorrect but I prefer leaving out the handbrake. It looks amateur and takes longer to set up and set off.

is it true that if you’re on your driving test and someone flashes their light for you to go and you go is an instant fail? some people have failed for this, doesn’t really make sense to me as if they’re slowing down and holding up traffic to help you make progress and you don’t go that would make more sense?

Hey Karla good question. Not true. If someone’s waiting for you and you don’t go then you’re hesitating and holding up traffic unnecessarily. Be wary of flashing headlights though because they’re not a give way signal. Be sure that the car is letting you go before you proceed :)

Hey Manuela sorry to hear that! I've seen it happen loads. A manoeuvre at the beginning is a bit of a harsh one when you're most nervous and I'm sure you're excellent at bay parking normally! You can book a theory test now. Try it!

7:48 If the Sat Nav gives two instructions at once or utilises different wording from usual you need to look at the unit. This should show a map with a blue line to follow and when you look back at the road it should become clearer as you can associate the two..

It’s not the unit that’s how tom toms work. It gave two instructions together because the two instructions were close together. It’s the system they use on the test and you can’t turn audio off. That’s why we should practice with it

@@DrivingSchoolTV That is what I am saying if the unit says do this then that you need to see the diagram to clarify the situation. A similar trigger would be rare phrases such as "Go around the roundabout" which has a specific meaning 90% of candidates would not understand. Similarly "Cross the roundabout and take the third exit" requires a straight ahead lane as it is not a right turn. It is this type of audible warning that needs clarification by looking at the unit as you drive along. I never said take the unit to a service centre and have it examined and repaired.
