notice how the 3 prodigies of the Hashira, Sanemi, Tokitou, and Gyomei, beat the holy hell out of a demon until daybreak without any knowledge of how to kill demons. Tokitou slaughtered a demon with the garden tools, Sanemi hacked his demon mother up beyond repair, and Gyomei punched a demon repeatedly, until they all burned from sunlight. I loved the detail of that that it was them specifically.

I always debate myself who had a better feat as a kid between the 3 cause gyomei beat the sh#t out of that demon till daytime, sanemi after his seperation with genya continued to kill demons using any weapon he can find without knowledge of the demon slayer corpse and tie them up in trees until daytime and tokito killed the demon in full on rage

That aura ,almost frightened us ,mainly because of the sound effect and the lenght of the walk . because we were already scared ,and the studio prolonged our fear each step of muzan . The author stated that in Gyomei's backstory, the little girl Sayo was actually referring to the demon as the monster, not Gyomei. But bc of the way she worded it, and the demon disappearing, the police thought she meant Gyomei. Apparently she's still alive and around 14 yo, and wants to apologize to Gyomei, though she doesn't actually ever appear again in the anime or manga.

I'll tell you why receiving the letter made Zenitsu so unhappy. What was written in it, exactly? His teacher, the erstwhile Hashira, is where it all begins. Kaikagu went on a demon hunt with the Demon Slayer one day. When he finally saw Kokashibo, he made the threat to kill him unless he turned into the higher moon. There's a law in Demon Slayer that states that if any of your discipline turns into a demon, the hashira must bear the punishment. That coward kaikagu turned out to be upper moon five. The previous Hashira committed suicide because he started blaming himself for not having taught Kaikagu properly. That's what was stated in the letter, which explains Zenitsu's extreme melancholy. . I can't wait to see the animated version, When Zenitsu defeats Kaigaku in the upcoming season finale. I apologize for any spoilers, but I just had to tell everyone about this wonderful story.

I liked the backstory for what its worth, at the beginning of the story they more-or-less said that most of the Demon Slayer corp were made up of people who had lost their families to demons, and its much better than inserting a backstory mid-climatic battle every single time like most Shonen tend to do.

actuall ,except Rengoku and tengen's backstory and somewhat giyu's , rest's backstory make sense . Why they didnt believe Tanjiro's words in the trial is all in their backstory . Gyomei and Shinobu knows that demons are liars and trickster ,and Tanjiro might be lying because as gyomei says children are selfish and lies. Sanemi acts like that because of his mother . You will see Obanai's story too in time. Muichiro had no reaction in the trial . Mitsuri had no such backstory , she loves all ,thats why she was fine with him traveling with demons

He is one dimensional but his character makes sense. He is like Voldemort from Harry Potter. He fear of death and will do anything to escape it. He is petty and cowardly, one of the well done pure evil villains in new gen despite being incredibly simple. At least better than actual directionless and one dimensional characters like sukuna from jjk.

This season has been 95% pointless boring stuff for the most part so far. The only good parts have been that tengen episode, giyus backstory and tanjiro trying to comfort him and now gyomeis backstory. We get all these scenes and they feel so pointless and dont add anything. The humour is still good but there's no story or plot happening most of the time. Even the training being done is so basic and boring. The animation is still amazing but good flashy animation is gonna be boring if there isnt any interesting plot to pair it with
