Not so Fun fact (not a spoiler) The little girl didn't mean to get gyomei sent to prison and she was actually referring to the demon when she was talking to the adults but since demons aren't common knowledge and the body was burned in the sun the adult thought it was him and the girl never got the chance to apologize to gyomei sadly

1st of all,crows already knew muzan is here and crow order every hashira to go to the ubuyashiki mansion . 2nd ,it was better that hashira arrive at late because as muzan is the strongest being,he would have killed maximum hashiras there even without getting into the castle .

Given who Sanemi and Giyu's opponents were in the castle it's easy to see that Sanemi is stronger. Only issue is that majority of the Giyu fans are anime only and they don't know yet.

outside of Gyomei being number one, there is no reason to powerscale the hashira. Sanemi being way stronger than giyu or anything of the sort is not actual canon but fan speculation

its canon bro. Author Herself release fanbook where some ranking are given where it is stated that sanemi is 2nd fastest hashira in unmarked forms and with mark Sanemi is the fastest hashira .Also with rage marked Sanemi is the 2nd strongeat hashira. Overall Sanemi is 2nd.

With Mark Sanemi is the fastest hashira and Giyu is 4th fastest hashira Plus its also stated all 4 hashira - Rengoku,mitsuri,Sanemi and Giyu have same physical strength in unmarked form but with rage and mark Sanemi is official the 2nd physical strongest hashira Also with marechi blood and his skills in wind breathing ( only real breathing) ,Sanemi is overall the 2nd powerful & strongest among hashira .
