lol the questions from Budget Insurance I can definitely relate to 😂😂. I had my car written off in Feb, 2022 and they were asking my “were there fluids leaking afterwards”, “we’re all doors able to open” etc etc to the point where I told them straight that after the accident my mind was frizzed and near impossible for me to have done all those checks 😭

Other insurers identify the speed(km/h) you were traveling at during the accident when you are involved in an accident. That is why they require that the vehicle have a tracker in order to determine the speed you are travelling at. If the speed limit is 120 km/h (freeway), and you are involved in an accident with a speed of 150 km/h. They refuse to provide coverage and claim you were speeding.

Also another thing about the night at propaganda, make sure that if you are a drinker of alcohol you don’t use your bank card to swipe rather withdraw cash to purchase alcohol cause if they ask the bank to produce statements they can check if you were drinking or not, yes you can argue that it was not you drinking but you bought for someone else mara now they will ask the police if they tested you , it’s just a whole lot of unnecessary questions to make sure your claim gets rejected, just make sure your ground is all covered before talking to those people they will frustrate you😂😂

You need to insure any optional extras in case you're involved in an accident. Imagine your polo in the old days came with led headlights as an optional extra and you have a front end smash and you didn't specify them, money you'll have to cough up as insurance won't pay. As to your earlier question, all you need to do is contact the dealer (VW, Toyota, etc) and give them your VIN number and they'll give you a printout of any optional extras the car came with

I informed the insurer about the sound but I opted not to cover it and it did not affect the resale value of the car because I removed it before taking the car for valuation. The GTI has the beats audio system and I'm happy with that.

@@cia942 Tracker is a scam. Paying monthly subscription to a tracker you yourself have no access to. Thieves can easily remove it, and the tracking may stop working down the line. Just buy Apple or Samsung smart tag to track the car yourself and send records to authorities....
