Montage is naturally alot louder than the modx8 also the sounds sound a bit more richer and clearer on the montage ,but the modx is still a amazing purchase to have the same sounds

I tried the MODX in the store and it had similar build quality to the MOXF. Good, but not as great as the Montage. Also, there are enough feature differences to warrant the additional cost. As an example, I use the physical buttons and faders all the time, and would miss them on the MODX, among other things.

Nonsense, the Montage has a way nicer, top-of-the-line keybed. I play it every time I go to Guitar Center, it feels incredible. The MOXF keybed is kind of clunky and sluggish in comparison. No professional pianist would be satisfied with it long term.

MODX keyboards don't have aftertouch. I might buy a MODX6 if I were gigging so if it got damaged or stolen I wouldn't feel as bad as if it was a Montage. The sound engine you get for the price is great. But otherwise I'd buy the Montage.

Great comparison. Now that the Volumes are adjusted the difference is barely noticeable if at all.

I've had a MO6 and an MOX6, and while it's nice to have a very lightweight and great sounding keyboard, somehow I always had the feeling that the flagship (MOTIF) keyboards of my bandmates sounded better (cleaner and more defined). One thing that never liked that much is the keybed, so mucho different than the Tyros2 that I had back then (FSX). So now I'm debating myself between getting a MODX6 or the Montage6 for gigs (I do a lot more of gigs and little studio work). Also my MOX6 didn't stood the test of time as the plastic construction has seen some damage to it. It really served me well, way beyond pay off, and even it would still work after a complete service, I have the feeling and want to take the next step so I don't really know what should I do.

If you prefer recording using the analogue outs then wouldn't the "Pure Analog Circuit (PAC)" that the Montage has sound fuller than the MODX ?

The Montage sounds more brighter. Barely noticeable but that said I think in many cases the MODX could be more preferable especially for bright natured FM Sounds to help tone down some of the harshness of the Engine.

Ma scusate... pereché devo spendere 3900 euro se per 1500 posso avere lo stesso banco di suoni che a me me par o stess? Cioè se mi ero comprato la montage e poi qui sentivo il paragone con la modx8, come minimo la andavo a scassare in testa a chi me la aveva venduta

Toca Rauuul!!! A diferença está bem nos nuances. Os timbres do Montage são ligeiramentes mais nítidos, com um pouco mais de peso, principalmente nos acústicos. No estúdio se escuta a diferença, mas no PA eu acho difícil diferenciar. Então, pra quem não vai ganhar dinheiro num estúdio, melhor pegar o MODX.

Marcin Ponarski oczywiście że tak! Że rom jest identyczny. Różnica tkwi w klawiaturze czyli artykulacji. Dłuższe próbki udowodniły by dokładnie to samo.

No właśnie dlaczego cena jest taka sama jaka była 4 miesiące temu?. Po co ktoś miałby płacić tyle więcej skoro nie ma żadnej różnicy w brzmieniu to bez sensu.

On this demo I think the piano sound from Montage is little bit more fat. Or is it just the mixer that makes the different?

Converters probably slightly higher spec but really not much at all in it. Probably more to do with the key sensitivity.
