This bike didn’t get me all excited. It’s bigger brother the brutale 1000 on the other hand put a smile on my face for sure.

@@DSR1YT I get it!!! Personally I haven't been on 2 wheels for about 22 years so ... I'm not trying to get a huge bike & get into another wreck really quickly. So I been looking at the Dragster, Harley Sportster S & the Indian FTR Rally. Kinda hard to decide

Well if you are after a bike that looks awesome but won’t get you in to really trouble below 7000rpm then this should definitely be considered. Ride safe what ever you choose.

I ve got the Brutale 800RR, so very similar. It's an amazing toy already. The 1000cc is too much... this is more than enough to lose your license. Too bad he didnt do the launch control. I had a Monster 796 before... big difference in perf.. 0-100 in around 3.5 sec now it's a freaking missile on 2 wheels ! And while the sound is very quiet at low speed as soon as you start accelerating, it sounds amazing !

do you know the diffrence to the scs version?
@DSR1YT2 жыл бұрын
On the outside it looks the same. The difference is the ability to not use the clutch lever at all. There is the added brake to stop it rolling whilst in gear as normally you can leave it in 1st and switch off the bike. Obviously this isn’t possible with the scs system. Hence the added brake. Hope this helps.

How would you compare this to an MT10 weight wise etc ?
@DSR1YT2 жыл бұрын
Honestly derek I was disappointed with this machine. At nearly £7k more than the MT10 it’s not worth it. You are paying for the name and it’s looks. The 10 would win all day long over this bike. The dragster’s engine doesn’t feel exciting until after 7000rpm which in every gear you are breaking the speed limit.

@@DSR1YT Hi I have an MT10SP at present (which is superb) and was fancying the MV as a second bike due to it's looks and weight as I am not getting younger . Did you notice a huge difference in weight ? .Thanks for your feed-back
@DSR1YT2 жыл бұрын
There is some difference yes as there is about 20kg that separates the two bikes. The recluse clutch is handy as it removes any need for the clutch. Only way to know the difference is by booking a test ride. Which is a slippery slope 😁. Ride safe

MT10SP vs MV Agusta Dragster? Like comparing Camaro to a McLaren. MT10sp is heavy bike. And lacks dragsters pizzazz! Never ask a brit to to do a test on an italian product. They simply suck at honestly reviewing things! I rode the dragster. Some things are different. I don't need heptic feedback on directionals but pepole get used to it and think it is garbage if it isn't there. Guess why this bike is lighter you twit. Unnecessary things are removed!

have the same color scs version, mine very hard to kick or swithing gears without pulling a bit on clutch lever, not adjusted to the scs yet, always forgot… i think the quickshifter and scs on this bike are just options, if i choose again i will save some money on scs part. the quick shifter i might cut off later.

@@worstguy6183 The up and down quickshifter only works in two of the rider modes if that's any help. Race & Custom I think. It's standard on all the models, only the SCS is an option

If you got rid of the rear fender section you risk having water thrown all up your back when riding in wet weather. Not a good thing ..lol...

Cool review. So, I thought you were reviewing one that has the SCS system. So, form your explanation the SCS would be worse than this system?
@DSR1YT2 жыл бұрын
This is the scs version. Everything is there as you would expect, ie it has a clutch lever. It just doesn’t stall whilst in 1st gear. Unlike the NT1100 which has the DCT gearbox, that has no clutch lever at all.

@@english.ricardo yes it does you can see it just below the clip ons. In the middle you see the adjustment knob for it(little black thing). Note: the Dragster Rosso does NOT have the steering dampener and no option to purchase one

I agree but then it would also ruin the look of that rear section.

It’s a marmite subject but you could lose the rear section and get a plate just under 200mm and then it doesn’t spoil the tail lights

both have pros and cons. There s a slimmer tail tidy from R&G that I ordered.... looks much beter with it. Then it s a matter of taste.
