Feel your pain.Never again am I buying an MV.As a new bike I owned a 2014 Dragster.what a disaster. 3 sprag clutches. 2 under warranty.I was loosing rear brake to spongeness.Higher dot racing fluid suggested which destroyed the brake cylinder seals.I moved the reservoir back away from motor to the rear more,(heat from motor possibly boiling fluid) put on a new cylinder and used dot 4 fluid.Fixed rear brake issue.

They come a long way since 2014. Still got minor issues but its usually just the clutch switch now and that's a cheap easy fix.

I have thought about taking out the abs unit and by pass the lot to make it manual brakes via a distribution block just start removing and replacing parts to solve the problem.

My dragsters the same, apparently Mv class it as a rear assist and not a brake

2019 Brutale 800 RC... Hello from Texas. Same problem here. Been to shop several times while still under warranty. New style ABS block installed during last visit 8 months ago. Now the rear brake has gone away again so I plan to get it fixed and then sell or trade for a BMW R1250S.

I have the new F3 Rosso 2022 and I have the same problem with its brakes front and rear! I have replaced the front master cylinder for a Brembo RCS Corsa Corta and solved the problem, but the rear is still the oem Nissin Master Cylinder and the problem continues even after bleeding the brake line several times at the dealership… MV denies any problem with its oem parts… I want to replace the rear one for Brembo also, but its hard to find it for this model… Cheers!

Same issue on my wife's 2018 Dragster 800 RR. I see the fix in the comments below regarding having the caliper above the ABS unit, as that's where the air is getting trapped. I also have read a Service Bulletin from MV that stated to loosen the 2 rear brake lines on the ABS unit and perform bleeding whilst they are loose, which I'll bet creates a massive mess. Then you go and ride the bike, and try to lock the rear wheel up 5 times, thereby actuating the ABS unit 5 times. Then bleed the system again the normal way through the caliper. The real question is, are we going to go through this bullshit every time this happens? Our bike got air in the system with only 400 miles on it. There may be some other fix as I've seen newer ABS units that have a bleed nipple on them. I'm trying to get MV to respond to me now on this as I want answers before I bring the bike to a dealer.

@@derekdreke4990 Yeah I should be bringing this thing to a dealer to have the bulletin complied with in a month or 2. They say they also replace a rear brake line which also adds a bleeder up near the ABS unit so you can get the air out if the problem occurs again.

Could you find out the part # for that ? Im gonna ask our MV rep as well. I actually had success so far but all i did was replace the master cyl and get the rear caliper way up in the air total pain in the ass but got er done. Idk where ya live but got time and it's actually quite easy

@@derekdreke4990 Yep that’s the procedure. Get the caliper up high to help get the air out. I don’t know any part number yet but I’ll find out when I get to my dealer. That probably won’t be till toward the end of October when I go and have this all done under warranty. I’ll let you know when I find it though.

What a ridiculous after sales service. Mv agusta puts dealers and customers and I think even importers with their hands behind their backs. Quantity over quality. I don't just want to watch, I also want to drive and do it in a safe way. How I regret my purchase. The passion was great but is fading as I have a headache from the bike. Brutal 800rr 2018 with a shitty rear brake.

hi Kevin, yea all sorted and a pretty simple solution. the caliper has to be above the ABS unit to bleed correctly. it took Moro corsa 30 mins to sort it, unfortunately stoke MV did not do this and i was there 5 hrs.

@@kevinstanley8732 how is your reliability othe wise? Mine has 6,000 miles on it now. First 600 miles were a disaster. Clutch switch and quick shifter kept breaking.all sorted out now just the rear brake issues suck!!! I upgraded the stabilizer to ohlins that was the best decision I ever made haha. Mine is a 2019 dragster rr. Thanks for the videos they help us out alot. Not to many of them on KZbin keep it up

@@stealthdoocatee hello m8y, did you replace the dampner on the bars [stabilizer] interesting if so you saw a difference as both my 15 model and my latest 19 model have head shake at about 100 , so your solution may be the answer. as for vids, yea not many of us normal people trying to sort stuff on our babies :)
