The song is telling people to basically chill out and live their lives. In Korea, students study until they're sick because if you fail college entrance exams then your life is over. And all throughout your academic career, you're told to do well on that exam that everything you're doing is to pass that exam. This song is telling youth to see the bigger picture. And Suga at the very end, is telling them that he'll forgive them for enjoying their lives, because BTS knows that students will feel guilty But like, it's not worth analyzing BTS' lyrics or videos unless you're prepared to go into some deep lore. Like they've been building up the storyline since 2013. It's an investment to theorize about BTS' detailed message

Jungkook actually walks the streets alone sometimes and a few people come and say hi, but most just let him do his own thing and don't bother him. He goes and watches street performers perform their songs, it's cute. Although, I doubt they'd all be able to walk the streets together like that.

& forgot to mention, the Iheart Awards ceremony is live right now, BTS is nominated in two categories however they aren't attending due to preparation of their new album. Great reaction guys. In Korea, kids are raised with a lot of family pressure to do well and to study. The Lyrics in Fire are telling kids that it's okay to make mistakes while you're young, that you don't have to be perfect and to enjoy being young. That's why Suga says "I'll forgive you." If you want a closer view of the dancing, look for Fire Dance Practice. You can also find the making of Fire and behind the scenes stuff. (Jin, who sang in front of the burning car, says it was super hot and he was scared to be that close.) Next you should check out Dope, Danger, Not Today, Save Me - not necessarily in that order. Danger was made earlier than the others and their style is raw, very different. In fact, their style/hair color changes all the time.

Funfact: many fans when they see BTS on the street acts like they are invisible, because they respect they personal space that much. When Jungkook was caught at airport in February, the whole airport was freaking out because no one could admit they noticed him, since he was with his family at the moment and no one wanted to bother them. The reason suga says I forgive you,, is because the whole song about burning they youth up and doing what they want and it connects wit those words because they are like telling themselves that they’ll forgive them self if they end up choosing something that jus way outta hand n shit as long as it makes them happy and so on it connects with they other album “the most beautiful moment in life” (whole concept was around having the most beautiful moment in life and seeing if it was really worth all the things they been through to gain.. jus shit like that:) 💘 hopefully this gives you a bigger idea around it

The song starts with J-Hope's verse, who claims to be drunk and sad and his life being a complete mess. The lyrics encourage to live your life without worries, full of joy. Focus yourself more on the future, because the past remains in the past. At the end of the song, Suga says "I'll forgive you", which means you don't have anything to worry about from the past. Rap Monster explained, “We didn’t want to just blankly say ‘cheer up’ or ‘be strong.’ We really wanted to comfort people our way, by producing the music and writing the lyrics ourselves. We poured our heart and soul into this amazing song.” They also added, “It’s natural that people fail or make mistakes, but I think it’s a touchy subject for the society as a whole. We wanted to comfort ourselves by saying that one mistake or failure is not the end of the world.”
