I think i should let you know in Korea it's more acceptable for men to be more affectionate with each other. No, it doesn't mean their gay. Even if they were none of us really care. Also the whole "shipping" things is just what fangirls do. Also these videos aren't very accurate. It misses alot of stuff. Jungkook left his home at the age of 15 and often cried and missed his parents. The other members practically raised him and he's very thankful for that. There all like brothers.

I know some people already told you but I've seen some others reaction channels being uncomfortable with some parts of the videos and I just wanted to let you guys know that unlike in America being touchy and affectionate between men is a common thing in friendships in Korea , it's just a way like another to show your love and appreciation , it's just part of the Asian culture . Heads up, the kissing things they do are punishments if they lose challenges and these videos kind of include them without the right context because they like to ship the members together. It kind of annoys me because there would be absolutely nothing wrong if they were gay but it often confuses new people watching the introductions.

Just a note that the subs from youtube were fake subs loll. Their automatic engine was trying to translate what it was hearing and it made no sense. But yeah, I respect you guys openness to different things but I feel that this may not be a series you'd all enjoy to continue :( don't force yourselves and just let your viewers know, it's 100% fine. Those are fan compilations and it's honestly more productive and entertaining to watch their official content and stuff they have on their channels. So MUCH! I recommend AHL. American Hustle Life as a series~~ hmmm. It's... hmmm. Loll meh. Judge for yourselves but it's a corner stone of Bangtan. Btw many ppl find the squishy videos entertaining but that's not everyone's thing. Like, I've never seen that compilation and it bore me to death and my other ARMY friends find them embarassing and bad intros but it must just be our age showing. These things aren't entertaining to us 😥 There used to be others of better quality and worth watching for complete beginners in anything Korean but they got taken down and this series is a rather biased intro for ppl who already know Korean culture and wld understand the jokes and stuff happening. Don't do things that bore you :(

V KINGS Yay, thank you so much for this, I'm glad you've finally started. ❤️❤️ Next member introduction would be V ! By the way, it's really important that you know something before continuing the series. Their culture is very very different than American culture, so men that are really close in Korea tend to be very touchy with each other. Boys are taught since a young age that it's okay to show affection to each other so sometimes they embrace each other, slap butts, hold hands etc, what ever it may be.. (like how close family is) A lot of straight Korean men do it and it's not considered a "gay" thing. It's just how they show they love each other, so although I know you might find it cringey at first, I hope you can be understanding and non judgmental of their culture.

Because in this video hardly ever you can see how talented he is, I hope you can see other videos about him, he has many covers, his voice is so beautiful, he is a good dancer too, also he is super amazing taking photos, making videos and soo many things and that's why he is called golden maknae because he is good in everything you can imagine, anyways all of you guys are really nice checking all these videos, I love your channel. ^^

(Here's something I posted somewhere else ) Just some general things to know as you explore more videos: -You'll see that theres usually a lot of emphasis on age. Seniority is pretty important in Korean culture, as younger people are supposed to respect those who are older. That's why age differences are seen as a bigger deal than in the west. -People call each other with honorifics in order to give respect. For instance, "hyung". You'll see the guys refer to other members as "hyung" pretty often. "Hyung" is what males call older males that they are close to, it means "older brother". This video gives a pretty simple explanation of the honorifics: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5KQmHdoe9N0mLM -Like others have mentioned, people in Korea are usually more touchy-Feely, no matter the gender. You'll see the members sleeping together often, hugging each other, sharing food, etc. It's just part of their culture and it also shows how close they are to each other. They're just one big happy family :) -Aegyo. Aegyo is a type of behavior that emphasizes cuteness. Its usually shown thru hand gestures, "babyish" voices, facial expressions, etc. Both guys and girls can do it. Anything sweet, innocent, childish, etc. If you're not familiar with the concept, it may seem kinda weird, but it's just something that a lot of people do to show affection, if done correctly. I believe that cuteness in general is popular bc it bring a positive, whimsical, fun kind of feeling. Like how you feel when you see a puppy or a baby or something. It just makes people happy lol. -another small thing abt names: In east asia, last name comes before first name. So for example, Suga's name is Min Yoongi. "Min" is his last name, "Yoongi" is his first. And it's pronounced "Yoon-gee", with a hard G as in "geese" ;) And some things related more to BTS: -a lot of these clips in the Introduction to BTS video series are also from their variety shows they've been in (such as RUN BTS, which airs weekly on their Vlive channel), reality series, interviews, bonus features on their albums, twitter videos, etc. -the members often participate in a lot of mini games for fun, even outside of their variety show appearances.

Ok so I'm kinda late. But at least I'm here😅but anyway I noticed how y'all were kinda giving weird looks when they showed seens of them being all close and stuff (like when Jungkook kissed Hoseok's cheek). I don't know if anyone told you this already but in S. Korea when men are close to each other, they are a lot more touchy-feely than like it is here in America(I hope you get what I mean). Just something to keep in mind: the Intro to BTS series by Squishy Min Yoongi isn't the most accurate at times. Some of the info is incorrect so dont take her word for everything.
