Army, correct me if I'm wrong. BTS came up with this song as another anthem for "losers". They spoke to the youth that it was okay to not always take life seriously, that it was okay to be a loser sometimes, that you didn't always have to be perfect, and it was okay to make mistakes and have fun. You're still young. This was probably their response to Korea's harsh education system where youths spend the majority of their time to study and have no other life outside school and extra lessons. At the end of the song Suga said "I'll forgive you". I take this as "If noone forgives you (for being who you are and imperfect), I will."

I’m not sure if you know this or noticed but I saw somewhere that in the beginning, Dope was what was playing. So it kind of feels like this Suga was burning it up like burning up the expecting that you’re supposed to be dope all the time. Which is why I think this song was a response to that in some way. Like it’s ok to not be “dope” or great all the time so yea I completely agree with you. ☺️

This song is an extremely iconic one in BTS's discography. This song helped them A LOT in gainning a strong fandom. Even to this day when BTS is mentioned in shows this songs plays in the background. People of all generations know atleast one BTS song and its this one.

At that time their albums were about adolescence and youth. So basically, at the beginning of their path they talked about and depicted youth problems and the one's dreams Vs society and traditions ; than how to face it and be strong and stand against criticism ; than the love yourself Era comes to heal them with the love yourself albums. ✨ Thus, it's like a sequential planned ; not random, goal and message from bts. and "fire" was before love your self era as it clearly shown the youth symbols so you can tell. 🙏

MUST READ: 2016; ARMY's who have been around for along time have taken much from this song: Back in the day, BTS would sit around this tiny table and make plans. ARMY would watch their planning meetings. BTS would let us know that back then, things were a mess. JK is circling the music industry on his bike. The empty pool. Watching what's happening on a video game and it's the same thing happening in real life. That they've started smaller fires, We see that they have made some noise. And they began making bigger scenes by dropping the car that's on fire and RM dragging the bomb into a music club because they were ready to blow it ALL up! Suga's last line is: "I forgive you". OMIGOSH THANK YOU! This is what I always thought FIRE 🔥 was about! That BTS was telling the Kpop music industry they were going to burn it all down and the guy in black was the K industry/media. BTS discography if you listen from the debut to the present, all lyrics relate to the age of the boys. They write lyrics from their youth, to the adolescent, & now as an well known adult artist. They are musical geniuses.

The dance practice for FIRE is jaw dropping. RM is dragging a corded mic through the fire. JMO the hooded figure represents Yung's Shadow. The Shadow is the negative component of a personality, things like fears, prejudice, anxiety. ..the things a person hides from others. Yung's psychology suggests making peace with your shadow by accepting and or eliminating components, and integrating the remainder into the EGO. If you notice Suga shakes hands with the Shadow then sets the remainder on fire. Would enjoy a deeper dive, maybe a preview would work better and give you time to react to things like the significance of the paintings, or other observations you might have. Stay well
