FINALLY a real full on forest therian meet again!
The 17TH therian meet was held once again in Mastbos Breda!
Just like my 50K view vlog of the 4TH therian meet:

The 17th meetup was held on May 15th 2022 and counted a new record of 25 attendees.
It was HOT that day :p we were melting and eaten by musquitos on our way through the forest haha.

Yes! It’s becoming quiet overwelming even for us organisators hha. we had 28 coming, of which 25 actually attended. We were lucky with all 4 admins present to overlook everything. So that atleast one at all times could walk in front, or in the back, to lead & control. We even had high grade WALKT TALKIES! Like those radio phones. So that the admins in the back could communicate to the other admins in the front. Like calling that a car or bikersgroup was approaching so we could lead the group to the side. We also have a HBO schooled member attending each meet, who also brings a medkit and the like :D So we are getting very skilled and prepped at organizing these bigger meetups but darn they’re exhausting hha! Oh and due the hot weather, admins bought & carried water bottles at all times and had cooled icepacked waterbottles stored in the cars too :p We also organise carpools and carpools specificly between trainstation/busstop and meetup.. so that therians without their own car get equal chances to attend meetups as those who can drive!

Damn, Mastbos Breda... The place I've considered my territory for years. No threat or suggestion there, I just didn't know that therians actually meet up here cause I've never seen em. The two things that suck about that place imo are: - The high amount of people in the weekends and vacations. - The fact you can't get off trial far enough to really feel isolated from people and their noise. You'll always still hear and/or see them, or you'll go so far that you end up on another trail.

heya! cool to see another local! We LOVE the mastbos because it's so big and closeby both the belgian and the dutch border. Sad however that it isn't very easy to go to by public transport, so we have to do a lot of effort to organize carpools each year hha. We noticed the high amount of people in the weekends indeed, which is sad. But we did find a few more isolated areas. There is one 'off trail' path that we followed around a lake, that was largely quiet. I got some footage of us sitting at the lake in this video, I'll include more footage of it in the VLOG tho :)

@@PDTherian Edit: same, the forest is basically half my childhood since my parents moved to Breda. It has hidden beauties and also hidden history. And yeahh it's nearly impossible to go there by public transportation unless you wanna walk for thirty minutes from the bus stop near my house. For me it's just a ten minute bike ride though haha. And yeah the area itself is beautiful, and it just happens to be the Netherlands' oldest manmade forest (it was 500 years old in 2015). The ponds and lakes are great, you can see them grow and shrink with the seasons (by May they usually nearly flood, but in 2019's draught they all nearly dried up) and in spring and summer you're welcomed by the choirs of frogs who sing all day. I don't know if you've walked way south when in the Mastbos, but past where the "grensboom" used to stand and past the two connecting lakes (and the military practicing area) just south of it there's a whole other stretch of forest situated around a farm. It's usually free from people and thus nice and quiet.

We live very close to eachother! You can also find Thorn in the 11th therian meet :) and in the 2nd sleepover meer and halloween vlog. Oh and the 13th christmas video! They came to practicly all our recent therian meets hha. We also share ideas and support eachother, thorn also edited a few of my videos and I was in their unakite pack vlog too. We also just generally are good friends.

hi! i have seen one of ur videos a tutorial how to bark and stuff and i saw at the start u were doing quadrobics, you did something wrong tho!! ur supposed to curl ur fingers when doing quadrobics to prevent any wrist damages, also a small tip if you want ur body to be a little bit more straighter always have ur feet on the ground not only ur toes

We got a big facebook group for local therians. I , usually with the help of a few other admins, plan the meetups and announce them in the group. We’re still working on a website and a mailing list to alllow locals who dont have or dont want to have facebook to attend too

Anyone from the age of 13 and up is welcome to these type of meetups :) usually organizing is just a sake of finding a group of local people,picking a spot and activity, seeing who is available when, picking the most suitable date and done!! Enjoy. For finding them, I advice you to try and find local therians, or just ONE local therian. There might be a local facebook group (like we got), a local discord server, telegram chatgroup, therian amino chat or pack or the like. When you find one local, you can ask them if they know others. If lucky, they will lead you to whatever local group you might have. Goodluck!

I record the majority. Sometimes it happens that a friend of mine takes over the camera, that's what happened in a few shots in here (of which two include me!) but it's usually only very minor and many meets I recorded 100% of the footage.
