Josh Keaton does a much better Spider-Man voice. And not only because of the spectacular Spider-Man cartoon. His version seem to portray an older Peter Parker in MVC while Robbie Raymond seem to be portraying a young Peter Parker in MVCI. If that’s the case they need to set the MVCI model to look like a younger build of Spider-Man.

Honestly, if we're talking about mechanics and not visual or auditory comparison, I think MVCI Spidey is better. All his pre-existing attacks do more damage, and his new attacks like Spider Cannon give him more options in a fight. He's not as limited as he was in MVC3. Plus, he has a level 3 now, one of the few in MVCI which actually looks as good or better than anything in 3.

For me, it's just that he's ALWAYS talking. 3 had him quipping and giving a bit of attitude just the right amount, but Infinite kinda falls into that trap of, "Oh, he likes to make jokes, right? Both are good but I like the MVC3 better 'cause he feels closer to the classic. The quips are there to ease his fear and a way to deal with the Spider sense; this is shown in how snarky or malicious his jokes sound. MVCI sounds like the Disney cartoon version of him.

I think i need to comment this so i stop coming back to this video to analyze it. Robbie daymond is a good spiderman va and a great va overall. But his spiderman is good for the cartoon he designed the voice around. Hes still a highschool kid in that show so its more childish and excitable. I think they picked daymond becausw they wanted a spidey like the mcu one, who is also an excitable kid. But because of the fact that mvc spidey has always been 616 spidey whos more adult the voice doesnt fit. especially since they used the old comic book spiderman artstyle making him more muscular and therefore less like a highschool The reason keaton sounds so good is because his voice is a perfect mix between adult and kid. Youll notice that his mvc voice for spidey is actually deeper than his voice for spectacular, becausw in mvc3 they were still making it 616, and he adapted to that. Becausw of that keaton gets much more a chance to shine Daymond never got a good chance to shine as spidey because his directions must have been all off. He had to make mvc spidey more like the mcu which is super hard. Add in infinites budget and time constraints, and no wonder the final product doesnt show off daymonds true skill as a va. Hopefully for mvc4 they either bring back keaton or give daymond a true chance to shine. He can do deeper and more mature voices, so i think if he was given a better game to voice, he could knock it out of the park.
