The Kriega OS is an excellent system 👌. In day to day life i use a pair of OS 6 on my T7, just enough for basics. Then for trips I fit the OS 12 ...these hold a ton of stuff and still look great on the T7. They really suit the bike . And on a 7hrs ride recently in some heavy rain 🌧 they are definitely waterproof! Cheers, Steve

Quality modular rackless system that’s more versatile & lighter weight (& slightly less spendy) than Mosko. Pair of 6’s on the base for every day essentials move up to the crash bars when the bigger bags go out back. With you on refusing to add any more tubular steel clutter to the bike. Centre stands & racks are out for me too. You’re unlikely to be disappointed with this setup, mate. Really like mine for their minimalist approach, quality & versatility.

I'm using Giant Loop stuff, but the Kriega system is very well thought out and tough. GL has served me well over 9 years. 51L and a back pack is all I need to live out of. Do you plan on getting top bag or just run the one you own already? Enduristan makes similar products as well✌

Hi there, any chance of a longer term follow up review of the system and if you have had any problems with your plastics breaking underneath?
@MVDBR2 жыл бұрын
I actually crashed on them last ride (newest vid published today) I had a solid heavy toolkit in the bag that the bike landed on. I was worried the plastics underneath would be broken but so far as I can tell they are ok, I haven't pulled the fender off to have a proper look though. I think last time I had the fender off I reinforced those joins a little with some epoxy. But nah all good so far 🤙

I agree that rear pannier racks are ugly AF. But I've got them on my 790 Adv to act as crash bars- good protection for the rear especially when theres the exhaust, fairings, and tail lights. I don't even use them to carry luggage, that all sits on the pillion seat and rear rack

Comparatively speaking. About $585 AUD for this setup, where my Nelson Rigg saddle bags of similar capacity cost $220 AUD. They have a lifetime warranty but do lack some of the features of the Kriegas.

Can you fit a motorcycle jacket in OS12 bag or should I go with OS18?

Hi, i am in the process of ordering this OS system. But the problem is that you can not find one dealer that has everything in stock that you need. Do not really get that. Most dealers are nothing more then a passtrough. You can place your order and then they will order it themselfs. Leaving you waiting and waiting. I hate those dealers. Kriega should block them. Not only Kriega. All the dealers that do not want to have products in stock. But now i have found one that has most stuff. But does not sell the os6 and the bottle-holder. So i need a few quick answers while my basket is still "open" with that webshop. Does the OS 12 also fit to OS22 . Or is the OS6 the max ? Or will it be even to large for the OS32 ? Today i did found out that there is also an OS40. Not an US40 but an OS40. So when offset you could go for the 40 on the opposite side of the exhaust and the 32 at the side of the exhaust. But i rather would have the extension bags like the OS6 and the OS12. So you can f.e. in the 6 have your petrolburner. Or your rainsuit for easy access. If you could answer that the OS12 does have a good fit on the OS22 then i can place my order. And then go to the other webshop from another dealer to place an order for the bottleholder. Cause i really need that one. I am going on a 6 week long trip to Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia. But i really do not want the OS12 to be sticking out at the side. It is as you told the side where the exhaust is. And i have plenty of experience with exhausts burning and ruining my stuff. You help woulf be appreaciated. But please do not wait to long with your answer. Really need that. And when you are asking yourself. Why did he not order any sooner ? Would go two up. With someone who did not dare to go away from the tarmac. So the tiny amount offroad did not justify the purchase of softluggage. Now it does.
@MVDBR Жыл бұрын
I'm sorry but I have no idea. I'm not a dealer or an expert on them I just bought a couple of the products. It's probably hard to get an answer from someone at Kriega but they would probably be your best bet to get a proper answer on such queries.
@dirktube54683 жыл бұрын
I don't think they're that good. The strap to compress them down is the same that holds them on, so every time you open them up they sag way down. Also would prefer a silicon top-loading zipper arrangement to end-loading roll top. Didn't like their trail 18 backpack either. Recommend mosko moto or enduristan soft gear instead.
