That does sound quite nice, has a deep throaty note thats for sure. You mentioned how heavy the stocker is, thats coz its double lined with multiple baffles. Done another 4 or 5 thousand KMs on mine since I fitted it and still running like a beast. The header pipe seems quite restrictive so I don't think adding a slip on alone affects the tune very much.
@agile-j4d2 жыл бұрын
With this in mind, can someone explain why an Akropovich exhaust is so crazy expensive? What is the justification? Or is there none and it's a pure rip off? Not that I'd ever buy one, the price is absurd. But I wonder if there actually is any reason at all to consider these, or if it's just a status symbol like Apple?
@MVDBR2 жыл бұрын
I doubt there's any good reason, except that people keep paying what they ask so they'll keep giving em the old shaft. Granted some of the proper Akros are made of premium materials like titanium but even so they are still a fuckin rort.
@agile-j4d2 жыл бұрын
@@MVDBR thought so, cheers
@Motovibes912 жыл бұрын
You pay for the titanium and carbon fiber. Mostly materials on the inside that you can't see so you pay 2x price of other premium exhausts for basically the brand name only
@droptuned833 ай бұрын
While not wishing to defend the cost of an Akro, you are paying for superior material quality and manufacturing but also their R&D and a guarantee of extra power ( noticeable by all but the most numb of riders) and their look is generally the best in class too.
