Honestly one of the most complete guides outside of the click bait dmz guides of other content creators. Having played over a hundred rounds already, i can attest all of this information is useful.

For Sawah Hotel Room 302, sometimes the Hotel spawns as a stronghold and you won't be able to get in from the rooftop. It's all boarded up and stuff when it spawns as a stronghold. If the stronghold symbol isn't on the Hotel building, then you are good to jump in through the roof.

You can get through any Locked Door by standing in front of it, then get hit straight on by a vehicle. You'll be on the other side ( of the door ) be prepared to unlock doors immediately or the AI will gun you down before you can say Aww Sheeeit

For heavy armored enemies in big groups, like strongholds, run the gas grenade. It’s terrible against actual players but completely disables the AI for 5 seconds - sometimes enough to plate up and save you

Man, I wish I had friends like you to game with. I’m gonna ball these tips and try to keep it solo to do my best in teir’ing up. The only tip I have is, time of day plays a big factor in UK DMZ accomplishment if you go solo. If you can, there is a sweet spot around 3:15z-5:30z UK time when you are less likely to get sniped at an extraction point and less likely to get hammered by the gold gun squads. Food for thought.

@@booclan6698 Well we're kind of doing this to ourselves, I sometimes auto-fill thinking it lowers my chance of being the one encountering hostile players, I even got pretty cool squads out of it and I'm the type to not be comfortable on a mic.

Big tip that not many people know about and 1 I really wish I knew sooner has to do with Contracts. Unlike on Warzone, you are actually able to Cancel the current contract you are on. This is so useful if you accidentally pick 1 up you’re not prepared for, or you don’t have time to finish one but can do another. All you need to do is click your Tac-Map, and on the top right corner you’ll see “Press 🔺To Cancel”. Just press and hold your respective button depending what you’re playing on, and boom! No long attached to that contract. Love this and wish they’d introduce something similar in WZ 2.0. Thanks for the great video!

I saw a video yesterday that mentioned if you get an Advanced-UAV and zoom out on the main map, only real players will be shown. It was something about the game not being able to process the quantity of AI in the game to be able to show them all on the map. I haven’t tried it yet but it looked legit in the video.

If you successfully call in the exfil chopper before the gas reaches then it will still come to you in the storm. And there will be several gas masks on the heli seats. Had an epic moment where that happened yesterday and the enemies left because they thought the chopper wouldn’t come in the storm

If you call it in just barely before the gas hits it (like 1-5 seconds), it’s cutting it too close and it won’t spawn the helicopter in.

didnt hear you mentioning killstreaks that are equiped on exfill also carry over to the next game. All the revives and streaks in the backpack are lost except for the equipped ones, so it would make sense to give them to team mates with none at the end of a game if you keep playing.

I think the third faction Name is an acronym! MOUs stands for Memorandum of Understanding(s) and is in the US law similar to Letter of Intent. So nothing fixed like a signed real contract but you have the serious intention for Something. So it is "Black MOUs"....black/dark intentions....and their Coat of Arms/Emblem is a falling bomb with lightning strikes left and right. You're Welcome.....

Should you have no contraband weapons and your insured slot is on cooldown, then there will be an option (bottom left) to select a free weapon. This is randomly selected.

It's typically the low tier enemy weapons and setups like 20-rnd 74u, RPK, scopeless LM-S and an x13.

So, for those wondering most glitched missions are fixed, and the "random gun" options ONLY unlocks when you run out of weapons to infil with. Even then, it's optional when you enter the load out screen.

You can choose a random weapon. You may get a shotgun or any other weapon. However some other team players without completing objectives appear to not have that option

I learned the hard way not to go in with two guns. I've lost half of my contraband guns, armor vests, and backpacks from game crashes. Now, I only go in with my primary, so if I crash or get team wiped by AI, I only have to wait for the timer, lol.

I mostly go without weapons in and take a knife, at the beginning, you can mostly beat up an enemy or just throw and knife a get a weapon

As someone who have crashed probably 50 times, I can confirm that the game will give you 1 random weapon to load in with if your cache is empty. You dont know what it is until you are in a game.

Assuming you are on PC, there is a guide on YT for the "Best PC setting for WZ 2.0" that goes through the Nvidia control panel settings where he.claims it will help fix the crashing... I didn't crash after changing my settings (yet), but I didn't really push it... normally I can do 2 DMZ rounds and then crash on the third... more testing tonight...

@@jwulf74 I have removed "most" crashes, I had one today with 5 hours played. The main problem I had with my AMD platform was having SAM turned on, that changed a BIOS setting called CSM that blackscreened the game and locked up the computer, After I turned that off I have a crash every second day or so. Now I'm just dealing with the regular crashes that everyone on PC seem to get. I think the game still have the legacy bug that we had in WZ1 that if you looked at a crashing plane the game would crash, now it seems to be that if you have the airstrike in view it can happen.

You can also deposit money and valuables into dead drops around d Al-Mazrah to reduce your Insured gun cool down... I don't know if you covered that one... good little addition ✌️

All the contracts are good I’d say raid weapon stash secure nuclear material and deliver cargo are the best 3 raid weapon stash is so good because it gives you great guns tons of money and kill streaks

DMZ is great but f...led for SOLO PLAYERS !! Finished Tier 2 of White Lotus and given up now. Tired of doing missions then being killed by CAMPING SQUADS at Exfil and Buy stations !! It's not fair for SOLO players to miss out on rewards and a great game mode yet again. Any good KZbinr who says they feel for solo players should try to promote a SOLO MODE OPTION. It would become really popular if this mode was added for sure !!

I was wondering how the insured weapon cool down works. For instance I realised that the timer doesn't start unless you leave the current match you lost/droppped your gun in, but I've also noticed that if you deliver cash to the dead drops in the same match you lost/dropped the gun the cool down is shortened. Is that intended or a bug?

That's totally intended, if you're trying to shave time off of your cool down, you definitely just want to roll in there get as much cash as you possibly can to throw it in a dumpster and rinse and repeat

Me and my squad had to fight like hell from the start and make it to the exile point and other crews jus took us out. Gave me a idea. Now I’m jus gone sit at the exile point and take what people work so hard for. And I’m gone plant a c4 at the end of the chopper jus in case

the m13b isnt the only blueprint that doesnt work in dmz all blueprints are broken in dmz they only use the attachments and sometimes the design but most times just the attachments

Can anyone tell me how to re-bind the "center map to player" -function to somewhere like mouse2 like it was in warzone1? I have always had my "open map" button binded to my mouse thumb button (in my case mouse4) but in dmz when I open my map, then at the bottom it tells me that the "center map to player" -function should already happen via mouse4, the same damn button I already OPEN/CLOSE my map with ffs.Few days ago I tried to even search "center map" with the search tool of the settings menu but there is nothing like it anywhere in the settings..?? I have to manually find/center myself every time I open the map and its getting really annoying

If you have used your insured weapon then died, it has a cool down. You can reduce the cool down by extracting with money or valuable items, or if you put those items or cash into a dead drop, it will reduce the cool down whether you manage to extract or not

Why my contraband weapons stash can hold only 10 guns? I don't know if it's a bug or you actually need to buy the vault edition of the game (i have a friend with the vault edition and he has the 20 contraband stash)

I'll probably get flack for this, but I'm genuinely curious. I'm brand new to the COD world, I play with my husband and I asked him why other operators want to try and kill you also? He says it's a crappy unspoken thing. So not only are you fighting AI, but you have to look out for other people too? I'm just curious why? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have rage quit a few times because I lost so much after working so hard and some guy laughing over me saying "I just wanted to PVP." (Playing in DMZ)

My Xbox died and I took about a year off. I Just got a new XBOX and Got Warzone 2.0 and have been playing DMZ. I have none of the weapons I earned from Plunder and I always spawn with just fists. It SUCKS.

My current DMZ game loop.. Try to find a 3-plate/med/large backpack Try to complete missions/die Try to find a 3-plate/med/large backpack I spend the majority of my time trying to get geared up properly. WHY NOT ALLOW US TO SAVE MONEY AND BUY GEAR OUT OF GAME? Activision is ridiculous

I know how useful having that stuff is. But honestly we just keep doing missions with whatever we have, it's better to make progress on your missions rather than getting bored gearing up all the time, even if it's riskier

I’m annoyed with this mode. 90% of the time I teamed with dipshits who don’t use mics and run off doing dumb shit and I never get missions done. Then I try and go off solo but you die so easy while alone and can’t rez while inevitably running into teams of tons of players. Wouldn’t be so bad if you didn’t have to look around all over the place for a triple plate vest after firing every time because having a single vest means you’re fucked. They should just give solo players 3 vests at the start because dealing with all this is just annoying.

So another interesting thing about the dog tags, if you kill someone and take their dog tag and sell them, their squad mates can't revive them during that round, and they will stay dead
