New maps have been confirmed too!! They are taking the best of the cave section from Azhir Cave and the slow play play and layout of Grazna Raid and combining them with Euphrates Bridge to make the biggest multiplayer map ever. It will be 4v4 Team Tactical only. They plan on calling it "Mess".

My biggest gripe with the weapons carrying over, is that I am going to be there with one of the new Sniper Rifles or something new, trying to level it up, and there is going to be 4 sweats per team using the Vaznev or any other OP/Meta weapon, I would rather have them delay the integration until S1

Im sure they're nerfing MW2 guns to ensure this doesn't occur, or making MW3 guns OP by default. Rmemeber that health is increased by 33% back to the ideal state of 150 we had in BO4, so the new guns will likely do more damage, while the old guns will be hitting like they did with 100 HP.

The fact people are getting hyped about this blows my mind. Noone seems to be thinking about that fact that the only reason all this is carrying over is because this isnt a new game. It was an expansion for MW2. Activision has everyone fooled into thinking theyre doing something cool for the community when in reality theyve repackaged all the MW3 content as a 70 dollar full game. This "new" game is just MW2. This is disgusting.

I hope they bring back stuff from Modern Warfare 2019, I know it's a different engine so they couldn't carry over between MW2019-MW2. Lots of good base guns that are different than what we have now. LMG's: PKM, L86, SAW, RPK-74 Pistols: 1911, P320, 92FS, Assault rifles: Galil, SiG 552, H&K 416 SMG's: UMP, Scorpion, AR-9, Battle rifles: FAL, SIG Spear, CZ Bren BR Marksman rifles: Dragonov, 417, Q the fix Maybe adding a new category like they did with marksman rifles between snipers and battle rifles "PDW's" blur the line between a pistol and an SMG guns like the B&T MP9, UZi Pro, MP7 and MAC-11 derives. Expanding on the family weapon tree system and the previous system of caliber swaps would be great too. Restricting magazines and barrels with caliber swaps would keep balance and authenticity. .300 black out should have a super sonic option.

There has already been 34 leaked guns that will launch with mwIII. Their will be a total of 72 mwII guns by the end of the life cycle. Im expecting at minimum 34 mwIII guns and at maximum 50. Probably somewhere in between around 40. Confirmed guns are the ACR 5.56, QBZ 95, G36, F2000, Ak101, CZ Bren 5.56, CZ Bren 7.62, ACR 450, Sig Spear XM5, CZ Bren DMR, SL8 (G36 gun family), ACR DMR, SVK, KVB 73 (unknown gun), AR 50, MSR, SVCh, MG36, PKM, PKP, QBZ 95 LSW, FN Evolys, RSh 12, M93 Rafrica, glock 21, Mini Uzi, spas12, Striker12, colt 9mm, uzi, scorpion evo, LWRC 45, and ump9 (with possible 45 acp conversion).

This game could be perfect if they bring back the movement speed from 2019, redo the gun smoke problem when ADS, recoil, and kick of the weapons and make that all feel like 2019, but keep the gun progression, and give you the option to customize your gun building system. Two things.. 1. As Ace pointed out, one big potential downside will be if these MWII weapons are there day one at whatever levels they were for that particular player in MWII. Meaning that many players may have max level MWII weapons with all attachments unlocked, meanwhile those that skipped MWII but decide to get MWIII will have nothing but base level guns with no attachments. That will objectively be about as unbalanced and unfair as it gets on launch day. 2. Idk who needs to hear this but Exo Zombies was actually fantastic.

I have to say that I'm happy with how the map Strike came out on season 5. If SHG just release updated versions of all the OG MW2 and MW 3 maps and weapons with some new designed maps sprinkled in I might bite. At least we'd know the maps would be good. But they have to make the perk system encourage movement and the kill streaks need to be the best of and loop.

Honestly this is a massive W and it is going to just make cod bigger. - Our next cod game gets a larger weapon sandbox - Our money just gained more value - We get a bigger breath of content Its kinda nice to see CoD be this giant package which has felt like its missing piece for so long. I voted with my wallet and didn't purchase MWII, just like I skipped MW2019. All I need from MWIII is: Good Maps Minimap WITH red dots Crossplay (almost a given) That's LITERALLY it. If I get those three things, there's a good chance I'll buy it. BUT with XDefiant coming out this year, I'm even more compelled to not budge at all and just play that so MWIII is going to need to be pretty good this year.

This goes along with, aside from sbmm, the difference between newer cods and older cods gameplay. On older cods you see variety because people like to prestige and start off again with most of the weapons and perks locked. On newer cods, when you unlock everything you are done, you might as well use only the meta weapons

Man the whole carry over everything is such an amazing thing to be bringing into call of duty. Imagine if they did that back in like BO3 or something. A feature we’ve been dreaming and thinking of for years is now finally happening and yet I’m still not hyped. Sure that’s a cool feature, but I wanna see the balancing issues they probably gonna have. Plus it’s MW3 and looking back at the last two MW games, it’s no surprise I’m not hyped.
