Fantastic memories of football before money turned it into a sterile bore and the word fan was indeed short for fanatic. A true legend. Rovers forever.............

Back when squad numbers correlated to where they were supposed to play on the pitch. Life made more sense in those days.

Close call between him and shearer, but noone will beat Garner as all time greatest player at Ewood - still managed it after 20 woodbines and x number of pints of mild in the beehive and station on a friday night!!

This makes up for not having him in your legends list. Good job.

Went with City when Simon Garner got a Hatrick against us lost 4-0 it could have been six that day we were god Awful it was 1989 same day as the Hillsborough Disaster MCFC
@LeeThompson-pu6xf2 жыл бұрын
I always remember this game and as you say it was the same day as Hillsborough. Great day in the Blackburn End and you're right you're defence was terrible. Taggart was one I think and was the other Gayle? Great memories, UP THE BLUES.

@@LeeThompson-pu6xf yes we manage to get automatic runners up spot just. Chelsea pissed the league that season as they was champions think you lads lost to Palace in the playoffs.

@@wayneduckett1961 exile Mancunian what lives in Scarborough now. Supported City for 38 years. My last City game was the first game of last season v Norwich. We was reigning champions and the atmosphere was pitful. And 47 pound for the privilege that was it for me sick and tired of paying ludicrous ticket prices. Silly kickoff days and times to accommodate Sky and BT Sports. Sat with daytrippers and corporates. It was done with an heavy heart as City will always be my club. In my blood, but isn't the game I grew up with in the 80s and 90s stood on the kippax street at Maine Road.

@@craigmullen9046 I’ve been going to Rovers since 70’s, as you say it’s not the same anymore. Was at Watford on Saturday just gone and it’s about the people I catch up with now. Football seems to be dying on its arse. Sky are not helping matters.
