My favorite v6 is the Pontiac/Chevy supercharged 3800 in Grand Prix Gtp and Monte Carlo SS. People put these engines in Pontiac Fieros, very fast. They make lots of performance parts, turbos for these. You can also buy a racing 3800 block made to take 900 hp.

The first and second gens are within about 100lbs in weight. It's kinda clear cut whose gonna win based on the power difference. This is not accounting for the weight difference in the v6, probably not significant enough to lose however.
