This will never live up to mxgp3. The bike setup the sound the ruts the tracks and everything it was so much more realistic and now it seems their making it to where it’s easier and everyone can be fast. My wish is that another game like Mxgp3 will come out again

Throttle control. Throttle control. Throttle control. Also, the looser the dirt is, the less ruts grab you and the more your rear end dances around. So in somewhere sandy you aren't going to track through every corner, you're going to slide until you hit a big enough berm if you don't have *throttle control*

Use more front brake and roll on the throttle instead of full tilt in a corner everytime and you'll be fine.

I’m down for throttle control but the advanced settings is impossible to ride. You can’t get any traction coming out of a corner and you can’t get the bike turned on the entrance. It’s impossible to control the bike. The riots don’t grab you at all. They need to add ruts that grab you and make it so advanced isn’t ice skating session

The problem Is milestone "implementing" "throttle control" without implementing a Basic stuff in motocross called Ruts after 7 freaking games. Also we can't call this throttle control when the clutch is not even working, after 7 games...

@@MicacoGames You obviously havent played MXGP 3 because the ruts in MXGP 3 functioned perectly.... not sure why they went backwards, but in mxgp3 they were fucking perfect. I just went back and played it last night, and it was so much fun to get into a rut and rail the corner..... and it frustrates me that they went backwards, and now after 2 more mxgp games they still cant get it right.... Its simple. Go back the way it was in mxgp3

Good review, and yea of course when you drift all the time, your not hitting the apex of the turn , I used to race and it was always crucial to hit that center of the turn. Unless there was a slower racer, or the inside line was cut off, or you had to make a rare pass on the outside.. anyways I found this game very realistic (except in advanced mode) even in real racing if you pin throttle there is no way you be sliding out like that all the time unless wet.. keep up content

The thing is that back in the day there was a supercross game that had great ground physics and a great trick system while in the air. The next year THQ released their first mx title with a complete trash ground physics a horrible air physics and trick system, but because they put Ricky Carmichael's name on it they crushed every other title available. THQ set back mx games for over a decade now and I still haven't found one that had a physics system as good as the supercross game from way back then.

I know this is a past video as I'm writing this but the developers have said before the game came out if you want to do backflips and tricks and whips go play MvA all out. Milestone isn't trying to be nordic

In real life you have to keep the same amount of throttle through out the whole corner to prevent your back end from sliding, if you go on the gas in a corner your back end is definitely gonna slide. In my opinion they did a good job on the advanced settings.

Tylyn honestly the confetti was awesome It made the game feel really realistic why do these game developers take stuff out of the game they should carry it into the new game and add the new features. If they wanna remove things remove things that people don’t like instead of the things that people actually like. Like the confetti for example. And like you said if your gonna have ruta make sure you can use them. Maybe not right as they form but once they get bigger. Especially if the person is using realistic physics actually make it realistic

Ok so for the tracks you cant pick custom tracks for some reason they took that out which is really stupid. As for the 450 you need to have one selected in one of your presets in the rider customization menu and then you can pick a custom 450/250 online

Dont get why the tire mark on the track are so big behind the bike .., and also the track is not wide enough and then u dont have any air time on any jumps on the mxgp games ! Plenty of factory teams in MXGP run hand guards...there is nothing in the rules about that. Just off the top of my head, I've seen both Tim Gajser and Tom Vialle using them this year; a factory HRC MXGP rider and a factory KTM MX2 rider.

Whats sad is the ground deformation aka ruts were just about perfect in MXGP3..... You could ACTUALLY make lines where they would form ruts, and you could ACTUALLY get into a use the ruts.... like the ruts held you in place...not TOO much though, so you actually needed to be some what skilled to stay in the rut.... ie. entry speed, and cornering too sharp or not enough..... like if you came in too hot you'd blow right through it.... if you turned too sharp, or not enough you'd hop out..... But if you hit it just right it would hold you in the rut.... milestone, WHY CAN'T YOU GO BACK TO THE WAY THE GROUND DEFORMATION WAS IN MXGP3???? YOU ALREADY HAD IT PERFECT!

The fact that you just clip through the dirt when you fall off the bike just shows that the put literally no effort in making the terrain collision based, it's just so lazy, all of the the dirt is literally just a fucking texture which changes, why is it so difficult to have proper erosion and deformation? It's absolutely ridiculous to play a motocross game without any ruts, this isn't the year 2000. I'll stick with all out, it isn't perfect, but it's a whole lot better than this garbage.
