Awesome thank you! I love my 990 SFF and upgraded the GPU to the GTX 1650 and put 32 Gigs of RAM (4x8) in and it's a little beast. I'm looking into replacing the MoBO and putting it in a new case. This MOBO is so limited with the CPU upgrade possibilities sadly. I've now hit a brickwall with performance due to the CPU limitations. Gotta find out what the MOBO upgrade possibilities are.

i have seen many of your videos and i gotta say they're pretty useful especially for my dell optiplex 7010 MT, however i was wondering if you could do a video about how to change the stock cooler in this pc for an aftermarket cooler like an hyper t2, t4 or an evo 212.. but of course with dell there is always a tricky part, basically they made the back motherboard backplate different (gj as always dell) but a friend told me that you could cut the edges of that backplate and make it like a normal motherboard backplate do you think you could do a video about that? i know is tough to make a request like that but i guarentee you it will be pretty useful for a lot of users

After replacing the motherboard on this Optiplex, can I still use the Dell Windows 7 reinstallation disc and have it automatically activate as "genuine" by reading the key code kernel on the MB or will I need to get a reauthorization each time I wan't to reinstall a clean OS which I do every few months? I've got an Optiplex 9010 SFF into which I'd like to install a wifi/bluetooth PCIe card. I need a USB 2.0 header for the bluetooth and there isn't one. It looks like the 9020/7020 ? you are working on here has one, but my 9010 doesn't. Any idea how I might add bluetooth to the thing? I've tried one of those tiny dongles (the iogear one) and it has a large latency that shows as out-of-sync audio/video, and it has limited range.

I have the Zotac 1650 in now. I can only run it in the x4 slot though. But graphics still look good. I have a Optiplex 790 DT case im not using. I want to put my 7020 SFF motherboard into the 790 DT case, then I can use the x16 slot on my motherboard because there will be more room. I just dont know if the motherboard will secure in the 790 DT case.

It's very uncomfortable to squeeze a low profile GPU. You could only theoretically fit a single slot LP GPU. A low profile GPU with 2 slots is impossible. Dell is trying to make it MORE difficult for gaming fixations in these SFF Optiplexes, best to stick on the older generations like the 9010 or 990.
