@@auraKittyyy this is super late but I used two hair ties I fastened together and put it around the pencil. Using one side, who we will call side a i guess aka one of the hair ties I doubled it up on the side and stretched it over to the other side of the pencil. Then using the side b I double it on the pencil. Doing this (for me at least) worked pretty well for a capo

i figured out that if you want it to sound exactly like the original song, you should put the capo on the second fret, not the third fret
