I've been through tons of different Delays, boutique and mainstream, and I just bought the carbon copy for the second time. There is just something about the way it sits in the mix and interacts with gain pedals that I enjoy. It's staying on my board for good now!

Really dig your demo videos, mostly because you use an AC30 and so do I. It's great to be able to hear pedals through an ac30 since they can be finnicky with pedals. You do a nice job too. Thank you!

A Good demo, bro. The Carbon Copy is a good, organic sounding delay. But for oscillation nastiness I still prefer the DE-7.

Oscilation is EASY with this pedal. But you killed the oscilation by turning the buttons down Before it grew up....

its an ok pedal, I prefer my analog delays to be really dark with a nice touch of warmth. I think for the price its really good but I don't get what all the hype is for when it comes to this pedal, I think there are much better sounding true analog delay pedals but as always shnobel good demo!

Can U help me please?? I think I have a problem with the one I have. When i have the reguen more than 12 o'clock i have alot of feedback, the repeats doesnt stop and for each repeat the volume increases until i turn the pedal off.. I don't know where is the problem. must i change the box?. because i bought it in boston and now i'm in Peru. I prove all things i've change mi cables, and prove three diferent kind of amps. i use a ehiphone riviera p93. I'm so frustrated

What chord voicings do you use in your delay demoes I really like the nice almost complex but simple sound they give with the delay I would really like to know because I'm sure they aren't just plain old open chords there's something different

how many repeats(max) you can do before oscillation?

It depends how long the delay time is, I've found. The longer the delay time, the higher the regen setting can be.

What exactly does the mod button do?

It adds a subtle warble to the repeats (like an old tape echo unit). At short delay times it resembles a chorus.

if you want pristine repeats you might want to consider a digital delay unit

Charizti The tail of the delay is important to me but the tone is everything! Change the tone drastically is one thing and delay analog sound is another. In my opinion .. ;)

+Phill PT I have one of those, dry signal is the same, wet signal is analog processed and that means an obvious tone colour change. The only one that reduces tone colour changing can be a digital delay, i have now a strymon timeline and it provides a good digital delay, so i need to take charizti part and say that he was right.

+seems like mountains, If you like a good analog delay, try playing with the Moog MF-104. It is a pedal for life!

Phill PT I solved the "dark color" issue by overpowering the carbon copy from 9v to 12v, btw i'll try that pedal
